studied hotel/restaurant management. had a couple jobs since i graduated 2 years ago. but in this economy, one of the first things people cut back on is dining out, and im suffering for it haha.
my family and friends have connections in boston, so its time that i try to use that to my advantage instead of going at it on my own unfortunately. its been a good run.
im sure i'll be aorund for a few more meets, and hopefully that autox at the end of may

Mat, that sucks man... You are an asset to the Philly Evo community and will be missed. Hopefully you can still make it down from time to time for a meet.
Marc, I've had bad luck with E-town in the past but that event really looks interesting. I may have to join you. I get lost everytime I to go to E-town though (and its been 10yrs prob), so I may have to follow you depending on the way you go. That would be my event for May since I won't be around for CBP on 5/24.

Sna, I signed up for the annual membership last Friday, while I'm still 24 hahah. This should save me some money as I plan on competing in the majority of the meets for the summer series, as well as the winter events and classes. Quite a bit of savings if added up.
Damn this thread keeps busy. It's nice to finally see a good number of Evos turning out for autoxs. Only a few short years ago it was only me vs. a bunch of STi's (although STis have won at Nationals 2 years running now).
For those of you interested in running the entire schedule check out www.phillyscca.com for the complete schedule.
I was the one directing traffic into Tech for those of you curious. I remember a bunch of you guys are way out classed. Alot where running in AS stock that should have been in SM. For correct classing of your car refer to SCCA's rulebook (link). Although if your running in the Novice class it doesn't matter since all Novices are classed together. It will matter once you move out of the Novice class and into a regular class (Evo is in AS, STU, BSP, SM and XP).
Marc - you car is getting there but, you need stiffer rear springs in that sucker. Alittle stiffer fronts wouldn't hurt either (along with some R compounds or at the very least a set of shaved Z1s/RE11s
). Its a good start though, we can really dial it in on the 9th if our bosses approve (Mother's Day weekend though will be tough
).
Brian - Give me a shout when you get a chance so I can tune the car. I'm swamped now but, I should be able to squeeze you in this week or the following week.
If anyone has a class questions or autox related questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Oh and I have some footage I'll post up tonight. My quickest (my first run) was a 56.2. My last run was smoking until I overcooked the entry into the first left hand sweeper leading into the first crossover section.

you can def. follow me down, I know the way like the back of my hand.
we can meet up someplace on the PATP and roll down together, same goes for anyone else who wants to tag along. Only condition is that we save the racing for the course
Did I already mention Exton on Friday nights? We usually get between 2 and 5 evo's but would love to see some more! Not in philly but close.

Sounds like it was another nice event at CBP this weekend. One of these days I will make it down for an event.
For any of you racers who are also into drag, Friday nights at Maple Grove is opening this Friday. I should be there with a few other Evo's from the area.
I know it's a drive for some of you guys, but those of you north and west of Philly, it isn't all that far. Just take the turnpike west to the 176/Morgantown exit. It is almost near where the Morgantown Sonic meet was, just maybe 10 min farther.
what kind of bad luck you talking about?

you don't need to worry about that with this bunch. when they cruise together it is usually slower than all other traffic on the road
not that i drive fast or anything
tim, what's your drag name again? spring blossom or shu shu fontana?
