marc i do this everyday on the blue route and 95 but it really is impossible to do when 90% of the muppets on the road are in the left lane. so I find myself passing right, passing left. anyway i can just to get some open air to not worry about the dude from jersey in the tahoe on his cell phone riding the person's *** in front of him.

traffic gripes. we all got em.

chu. i was just busting your asses about the cruising speed. it is safer that a bunch of evos weaving in and out of traffic down a highway and worrying about cops. sucks about your ticket.

I got the OK from the boss so I'm already registered. judging by the way the CBP event filled up, this is gonna sell out for sure... it was half full this afternoon.
I was at an import drag race, don't remember which though (IDRC ?). It was parked on the spectator side, for a little while anyway.
I just have to talk to the wife about going on the 9th. I should be good, she can't say no to me...

I pass people anyway I can if it needs to be done. I won't go on the shoulder though.

I could go on and on about crappy drivers, its one of my biggest pet-pevs. I wish cops would ticket people for driving slow in the left lane like they do for speeding.

BTW, knock on wood but I haven't gotten a speeding ticket in many years. I think the last one I got (which I got out of) was back in 04 when I got my EVO and was 'breaking it in' the right way. I had just broke 1k miles and wanted to see how fast the car moved thru the RPM in 4th... didn't know there was a cop a few cars behind me. I really only do the speed limit when my sons in the car, most other times I'm moving faster then traffic when it allows.

i can't drive fast with people in the car, either on the highway or 0-60. i am too distracted.

btw that chick with the swine flu that is all over the news is in our MICU today.

*please don't have a need for my service*

i've never been a germaphobe before. MRSA/VRE/ESBL/Cdiff/HIV/AIDS lay it on my gloved hand all you want. But, keep your herpes and swine flu away from me.

I must admit that I'm pretty far removed from all the swine flu talk thats been on the news lately. I keep hearing bits and pieces of it but I have no clue whats going cause I haven't actually sat down to watch the news... I guess ignorance is bliss.

marc. ignorance is bliss. you will be fine where you live and work.

the girl was having flu-like symptoms on her flight from Mexico, where the swine flu is out of control. she was taken off the plane and brought here. the swine flu is pretty close to being considered a pandemic by the CDC.

I don't care as long as I don't have to get into the closed up room with her today. The masks and respirators here don't protect you that much.

That sucks Pete. Being on a plane is the worst if you're worried about catching something. Drink a sh!tload of water until you nearly bloat and once you get through security keep cranking the water. You will be up a thousand times to the bathroom but that will be the best defense against picking anything up that you may be worried about. Plus when you get to CA you'll feel better than anyone that traveled with you because you'll be better hydrated.

crappy drivers in this state drive me nuts. thats one of the benefits of mass, we can pass on the right, and during rush hour we are allowed to use the emergency lane as a driving lane. as you can imagine, hilarity ensues

this whole pig flu bs is ridiculous. its just like the bird flu and sars.. give it a week and dont go hooking up with any foreigners here on vacation and we'll all be ok.

Couple of my co-workers took a trip to Mexico last weekend... They'll be back in a couple days. Everyone at work is joking they're going to bring some "friends" home with them.
