my tob did not come out! we cut the pressure plate teeth and yank that sucker out! but you can do it pete! plus you got chu he can muscle that thing out no problem haha

 

I'm going to try and make it out.

I should have my new tires on next week. I'll have to do a bunch of driving to get them broken in by Saturday.

sorry I didn't reply Marc. I was working. Just wondering if anyone was going for test/tune. You guys are all pretty involved in the auto-x so I assumed none of you were going.

 

The twin disk is finally in, and going through break-in stages. The retainer clip man handled us, but we eventually got it out by grinding it down some. It was a long night, but thanks to Peter and Adam (Brand New), the car is running great.

 

Those are the tires. I believe it's $50 back or a $75 Amazon gift card.

Trying to Pete, but I dont think it'll be ready by the 9th. I was looking forward to the novice school the following weekend, but have a feeling it wont read ready by then either. We'll see how it goes. May is a busy month for me.

 

Chu, I wouldn't worry too much about the miles. If you have 100-200 miles of driving, with some of that city driving, you should be ok. And if I know where you are from, you have plenty of stop and go traffic plus driving in the city. You'll break that sucker in quick, well before 500 miles is up.

 

+1, just sit through 2 serious traffic jams on two seperate days and call it broken in

I was drag racing on my clutch after 400 miles, but it went through a serious amount of low load engagements in traffic jams and city driving..

 

PETEYY, i found that exhaust leak, my o2 sensor was loose as ****. anyway, whos goin up to sonic this thursday...there was freakin 3 of us last week lol.

 

ill probably make it up there thursday
