Ah no big plans here yet lol. Just some 750 or 1000 injectors for now and maybe future. Nothing bigger than you doing the 9 turbo swap and cams. How did that went anyway? I was planning to hunt me down a 9 turbo. But that's gonna have to wait for a bit, money coming in slow.

 

What are the injectors for then? Are you planning on running ethanol?

I read a review that said because of all the electronic wizardry that make the RA and EVO such impressive cars that electronic music should be the only thing thats played in them. Fine by me, but sometimes I need something a little rougher in my driving music and that's when I will pump some live LP sets.

nick i used to live in miami and spain. i lived in miami when trance moved from middle of nowhere raves to the clubs. those days are gone. the days of everyone messing with mdma are gone too. now it is all cocaine like the 80s. changes things including the music (i don't do any drugs though...never did).

i was huge and still am a bit into anjunabeats (above and beyond) for uplifting but became chummy with markus schulz and his wife when i lived in miami. his first big tune was the remix of telepopmusik's breathe.....much more anthemy remix before he started push the hybrid progressive **** that armin got into about 5-6 years ago. lately i've been into melodic drum and bass.....maybe it is all the living in the northeast (i dont know). some melodic/uplifting house is ok....probably because all trance today is a hybrid of house and trance (more beat driven with more melody).

i listen to all kinds of stuff now and have seen every dj out there. i've been to ibiza several times when living in spain too. glow nightclub in DC is about the only half decent club to hit up around here in the summertime.

btw i never followed DJ AM and never checked him out until he died. he spun hardstyle? hello? welcome to 1997!!! hard swiss trance was cooler long before NYC DJ's F'd it up for the world....they're always like 10 years behind in styles.

i am married to a woman to clarify and there is nothing wrong with electronica....some is as hard as metalcore (i like August Burns Red of all bands)

I like many artists and plenty i dont even know them or the name of their songs yet (so many songs are remixed over and over again by so many people). So far i seen buuren and atb in concert. Dek0026 that is cool you know Marcus Shulz. Sounds like you have a huge history with the scene. Very cool. I never got out to Ibiza or any big clubs but I go to Europe every year since I got married and trance/tech/electronic music is still big out there.
I always wanted to go to the Love Parade in Berlin, I always have the chance but if it is between that and going to some place warm and sunny like the Greek Isles I don't go. I read somewhere that the animals at the Zoo get diarrhea for a week after the Love Parade because of the loud music poor little guys.

Blues, I went out to see Oakie in June. Would love to be able to see DeadMau5 in Philly on 22 of November but I will be out of town for the holidays. I basically listen to anything by anyone but a lot of DJs have free sets on iTunes which I subscribe to a few there. I pick up live sets like the 2009 Miami Winter Music Conference from sites like mercuryserver dot com.

Sitting here tonight I wish I could just have a drink somewhere cool and hear some tunes spinning, even if it was just some classics like from Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance Episode 200. At least I have the drinking part going.

Nope I'm not gonna run on E85 well not now at least lol. The injectors are for my tune.. apparently I'm running really lean dunno what happened there. My friend gave me some stock evo injectors but I'm not sure if I want to use that or just upgrade for future mods along the way.

My buddy picked up the green Evo 8 tonight. I drove it home from baltimore. Even with 102K on the odo it ran like new. Hell it runs better than mine with 49 on the odo and 20 on the engine.
