Thats the way I plan on going... 95 South to Rt.7 as understand it. I believe its right off of 7, could be wrong though. I guess I'm just going to use my Garmin, they take you some **cked up ways sometimes though.

I just want to play devils advocate here for a second. Being a former moderator for several other sites, I can say that it never looks fair looking in from the outside. If this site is like any of the others I served on then most likely it was debated for a while and it wasn't just one infraction, it was probably several small things that led up to it. I wonder if it was really worth the effort if the vendor bash was involved (this site seems to tolerate 0 negative talk of paying vendors which is something we always remained neutral on), but then again, maybe that never came into play. It could have become permanent due to the dual screen name thing. That's a no no on pretty much every site and we would always permaban for that infracture. But I digress because I could be way off base.

Well, the reason the mods gave me before closing the thread was his non-stop flaming and disrespect to the staff, and I would guess other forum members. His many infraction warrants the ban I guess. They will not make any exceptions, so Jim's out of luck. If you guys weren't all in here, I think I'd spend my time on TST more as of this point. This was a great site until it sold out and big brother cracked down...

I understand Josh's comment, but then whats the point of having a parts.service review forums? I can't talk about non-paying vendors, and I can't say anything nasty about paying vendors.

I do think the way its been is a bit over the top. I wont get into it but there was alledgedly an incident where a vendor who Ive known for some time and his staff were all banned because another vendor threw a fit after a confrontation. The one that complained had a completely baseless argument but he carried much more clout here so they were removed. If its true that would be very unfair, but I cant get more than bits and pieces of the full story (then again I never asked). I like coming here for info, buying and selling and you guys, but its hard to form any real attachment to the site as a whole when you feel like pins and needles dealing with vendors and such.

you missed not too much. jim didn't say anything earth shattering. nor has he done in the past. there are people on this site that say way worse and nothing comes of it.

WTF. You're right. I finally had a chance to look at his posts and unless there was serious editing going on, that was some really harsh punishment.
