^ you are exactly right. I think 'some' of it has to do with the fact that kids, with little to no moral values, are getting a hold of these cars now that prices aren't in the $20k range anymore. They are young and dumb and don't care who they rip-off. Just my .02.

I see alot of it on the corvette forums too now that c5's are dirt cheap. Used to be you could send someone a package before the check cleared and it was all good. Now a days you need to be extra careful with who you are dealing with... and don't even get me started on Paypal, what a joke!

back to the AX discussion; anyone who wants a ride in my car just needs to ask... #26 BSP

You're welcome to speak your mind here, as long as it's within the rules of the site. Unless you're an obvious spammer who will get banned instantly, you really have to work to earn a ban here.

Also, don't dodge the swear filter.

It could also have a bit to do with the times, it's not just in the C5 section you're seeing it. I've been shocked at the number of scammers I've seen in the C6 sections as well.

Never hurts to be very careful, and if you pay with paypal, draw those funds through a credit card.

that's sofa king awesome jeff.

must be nice to have a car with a larger aftermarket and local guys with parts looking to rid themselves of.

btw has anyone checked out the new X at dtown? looks so unperturbed and new. i'd be interested to see what the story with the XI would be....and whenever that will be.

also, has anyone talked to jim? i heard there was a huge lay off at the refinery recently like 400 workers. don't know if it was where jim actually worked though.

I talked to him a few days ago. He's doing good. Didn't mentioned anything about a lay-off, so I presume he's doing okay. I told him to come out to the Victory meet.

Dan I just buy local peoples used parts or talk to somebody in this thread

I did stop and look at a white X and it was nice.

I saw the refinery layoffs last night and thought the same thing. I think Sunoco is doing the layoffs and I believe Jim works for Exxon. I could be wrong
