Philadelphia Car Meets
^ you are exactly right. I think 'some' of it has to do with the fact that kids, with little to no moral values, are getting a hold of these cars now that prices aren't in the $20k range anymore. They are young and dumb and don't care who they rip-off. Just my .02.
I see alot of it on the corvette forums too now that c5's are dirt cheap. Used to be you could send someone a package before the check cleared and it was all good. Now a days you need to be extra careful with who you are dealing with... and don't even get me started on Paypal, what a joke!
back to the AX discussion; anyone who wants a ride in my car just needs to ask... #26 BSP

has any one noticed that there has/have been a whole lot of scaming&fraud going on around here lately......evom will ban a good person for speaking his mind but they wont ban these .... idk about you guys im just getting a lil pissy with the way things are working around here lately! like 2mins ago i saw a thread for an exedy twin disc for sale and dudes was asking for $650 then $500 but thanks to CBRD for pointing out that it was a fake before a fellow evo member was blindly jacked with out a gun to the dome! WTF......just mad so let me vent guys......just wanted all you guys to be aware of ding dongs that are just popping up left and right in/on evom!
Also, don't dodge the swear filter.

Never hurts to be very careful, and if you pay with paypal, draw those funds through a credit card.
^^^well what can you or any other moderator do to at less slow this scam thing down because all day long all i do is look for parts i mean the min i get into work im on this site until i go home. and i feel bad for other people because once your money is gone you can just kiss it good-bye. i know how it feels to lose $1500 and and not get any thing back for it...you guys are like the "gods of evom" lets see you work your powers and do something.
that's sofa king awesome jeff.
must be nice to have a car with a larger aftermarket and local guys with parts looking to rid themselves of.
btw has anyone checked out the new X at dtown? looks so unperturbed and new. i'd be interested to see what the story with the XI would be....and whenever that will be.
also, has anyone talked to jim? i heard there was a huge lay off at the refinery recently like 400 workers. don't know if it was where jim actually worked though.

I did stop and look at a white X and it was nice.
I saw the refinery layoffs last night and thought the same thing. I think Sunoco is doing the layoffs and I believe Jim works for Exxon. I could be wrong
