The top 1% of people in this country own 83% of the money. CEO's make 300 times the salaries as the average workers salary. Google it. I am in a Union and proud of it.
Both of those figures are fabricated and not true. The federal government controls considerably more money (one of many reasons I am a liberal republican). We're not talking about baseball or how much a CEO makes. SEPTA has taken advantage of the public transportation system in Philly for way too long. Overpriced fares, constant strikes, more budget issues than I can remember, it never ends. Then when the economy is at the worst it's been in over 70 years, they decide they want an even bigger piece of an already nonexistant pie. They're essentially holding the city hostage at a time when everyone is desperate. The elderly who don't drive, workers who have to get to what jobs are left, school kids who are becoming increasingly dumber by the year already etc. They are all at the whim of greedy people who don't care about anyone but themselves. I dont' want to sound like a lame movie quote, but at a time like this, it's everyone's moral obligation to make sacrifices for the greater good. The F you gimme gimme attitude that's been sweaping over the country is appaling.
Phew. I feel better now. No offense intended to anyone, but there's no way I will ever be convinced that what is happening is the right thing.

Event on the 22nd... My wifes b-day is the 21st. If I can go I will, may be tight though.

Jeff, glad your killing lots of harmless birds. Hope you don't thin out the population too much.

Chu, do you not have an extra set of RE-01's in your garage? I could have sworn you bought more than one set. If that is indeed the case, QUIT YOUR CRYING!

I'm going to an LFL game tonight for a buddies b-day, should be a good time. Those girls get rough. Anyone else have any good plans for the weekend.

i'd like to swing by the that event maybe run. i've messed around in that end of the lot may times late at night. i am currently parked in lot B. it is where i park every day. there are some big potholes in the pavement though and very slight elevation changes. it will be a good event. CBP's lot is much smoother though.

Wages start from $12.75/hr to $14.12/hr., depending on assigned location. All starting wages increase annually by 10% for the first four years. After four years, the top hourly rate ranges from $21.26/hr. to $23.53/hr., depending on location.

They are not getting rich.

Seriously this whole Septa talk is really a major buzz kill. Get over it already... For the majority of us it is not an issue. This is a car forum, let talk mods, meets or racing.

^ Sorry for being like that, its just getting old. No one on here has any control over it so I just feel we needed to move on.

How did you make out yesterday at R/T? Did they find out what was causing that noise?

As far as plans, I'm going to an LFL game tonight in Trenton (I hate Jersey) for a buddies 31st. Then house work tomorrow, racing Sunday.

I'm guessing you'll be playing with the dog all day saturday and sunday? Watching him **** all over your house?

couldn't have said it better myself.

tomorrow I'm supposed to take Luke to the Philadelphia Zoo, but I have a lot of house work to do so I'm not sure if we'll be able to make it. I will be racing on Sunday though, no house work is gonna keep me from that.

it wasn't a noise but more that my car is pulling to the right under acceleration at highway speeds. still not totally solved. we're going to change the diff oils but i don't know if that will do anything. i think it may be a tire pull but i will have to wait until the summer to put summer tires on. i don't know if i want to go as far as to buy new tires in case doesn't fix it. plus it settles down after the tires get really hot.
