Why are you guys crying about Septa workers? The people who own Septa make millions of dollars. So people who work there should get paid well. Just because you didnt go to college doesnt mean you shouldnt make good money. Just look when baseball went on strike. Look how much more the players make now and the owners are all still rich. The top 1% of people in this country own 83% of the money. CEO's make 300 times the salaries as the average workers salary. Google it. I am in a Union and proud of it.

you learned a trade, and therefore are educated so you deserve make good money. a bus driver isnt exactly skilled labor. if they are making 50k, they are the last people that should be complaining about their salary and benefits. hell they make more than a lot teachers i know. tell me how thats fair?
i bet 90% of the people riding the buses would take that job and benefits over their own jobs and be very content.

anyway enough about this is a ****ty argument cause both side have good points.

on with all the autox im missing out on. by the way, apparently the MA scca is an bunch of elitist bmw drivers. go figure

Chu - I've been running 1/16th total toe out with -3 degrees up front now for 3 years with no problems at all. I DD the crap out of my car and the tires are doing just fine.

We can talk alignments Sunday if you want - I've tried all different settings and pretty much know what will and won't work.

Oh yeah - for those of you that are interested the event on the 22nd will be an awesome one!!! It will be on one of the best lots so far in the Philly region and will be a very relaxed atmosphere competition wise as it will not be a points event. For those of you that have been wanting to give Solo a try now is the time.

You dont get abnormal camber ware? I could easily put 2-3k miles on my car a month, so I can't afford inside tire ware. Is -3 in front even possible without camber plates? I'm going to R/T tomorrow.

You will need camber plates to get -3, but you should get them if you are running R compounds. For your alignment, just tell R/T to give you as much negative camber in front with Adams toe setting. It will wear tires a little more than normal, but so what, you will have a bangin alignment for Autox! Another thing is ride height, if you don't have the roll center correction kit do not dump the car to low, it will screw the handling up.

You could just go buy a beater Civic or something and do your car proper, than you will be all set.

Septa is not owned by individuals, and it does not make money. Septa has to be one of the most poorly run organizations in the Delaware Valley. They lose money EVERY year, and provide mediocre to poor service for more money than most Transportation authorities around the country. If memory serves, Septa had the second highest bus fare of any city in the country (as of a few years ago at least).

Septa got $200 million stimulus dollars, and the Union wants their cut (IMHO). It is difficult to sympathize with Septa union members who are making good money to provide poor service, and are striking to get a larger pension. As was mentioned earlier most Americans are responsible for their own retirement, and don't have the luxury of a pension. Meanwhile they are turning their back on many hard working people who depend on Septa everyday.

end rant, and no I wasn't the biggest Septa fan even before the strike..

Every union worker is "proud of it".. I have worked with hundreds of union workers across the country and I was responsible for critiquing their work. Most were electricians and millwrights. And I can say without remorse that I think they doing more then their share of sucking the life out of the economy. Between the stealing, rediculous OT, and lack of work I actually feel bad for these companies who must hire them because if they don't the union cries, complains, pickets, ect. I know a lot of good guys who lost their jobs because of the union crying to the state, now this company wants to pack it up and leave the USA because the american workers are "too lazy".

I know alot of great union workers but in general, I think it has to change.

i love the political debate in the evo forums. see philly guys are smarter than all these other stupid city forums. good points from all angles. i think its ridiculous personally, both now and before the strike. The way septa is run needs to be overhauled in general.

petey you have a gixxer 750? how do you like that bike i was actually checking one out in the dealer the other day. seems pretty sweet

What's the cost to register? Is there going to be a winter series again this year?
