Brrr, it's cold out today! Anyone else's car act weird in the cold? My car didn't want to boost at all today. It was struggling to go over 10psi.

I also seem to have trouble starting in the cold. My car starts fine in the morning because it's in the garage, but after work, I have to crank it 2-3 times to turn on. The battery is fine, I just tested it and it was 12.75 volts.

 

Hmmm, mine is boosting wonderfully to 27 psi. I had alittle trouble with spark last week though, but it's resolved. Do you have a mini-battery?

 

I official posted the catch-cans in the northeast marketplace, so if anyone lcal is interested, please let me know.

 

Im getting bad spark blowout all of a sudden but otherwise it runs well in the cold.

Slow crank to startup today, nothing out of the norm for sub 30 degree temps. A battery with higher cold cranking amps would fix that.

Spark plug blow out? The combustion chamber is closed when the spark goes off lol

Theres not enough spark to overcome the 30 psi of boost and 90cc's of meth. Trust me it happens if the plugs are going or gapped wrong. You get a misfire at high rpm and a lot of backfiring and flames out if the tailpipe. I think I need to run a tighter gap or try a colder plug. Otherwise a COP would fix it.

 

The COP like Chu has is a great buy, esp for someone like you Josh who has an upgraded turbo and runs meth. You can get the used coil kits for under $300.
