A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 1 am Saturday to
6 am EST Sunday.
Snow is expected to overspread the area from south to north late
tonight and Saturday morning. The snow may fall heavy at times as
the storm makes its closest approach to the New Jersey and
Delaware coasts.
Warmer air may push in from the ocean and cause a mix or change
to plain rain along the coast... keeping snow amounts less than
areas just inland. However... as the storm pulls away even these
locations may change back to all snow and potentially receive
heavier snow amounts.
Accumulations of 8 to 12 inches of snow are possible in the
warning area... with locally higher amounts. These totals are
highly dependent on the track of the storm. If the low moves more
to the west... amounts will be higher. A more eastward track would
yield lower accumulations.
The snow should fall heavy at times... which when combined with
strong northerly winds... will produce areas of blowing and
drifting snow. This may cause dangerous travel conditions Saturday
and Saturday night. The strongest winds are expected closer to at
along the coast.
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

WHAT ARE YOU GUYS CRYING FOR. WE DRIVE AWD EVOs. SNOW JUST MAKES LIFE FUN. HAHAHA, i'll be at work frmo 6m-2p on saturday then back to south philly at night, so we will see how the ride home goes lol
GSC S1 cams, boost controller, intake,exhaust,fuel pump, and perrin fmic... Best on the stock turbo was 11.6 but I have hit 121 on the evo9 turbo and 120 on the evo8 turbo. I have an FP Red 80mm on the car now on gasoline, back to E85 as soon as the tracks open
It's funny because I was doing 11.9 every time with only exhaust, boost controller, fuel pump and tune, once you get around 12.0 it takes more power to make a minimal difference due to traction ect.

the snow is going to be good times. chasing a puppy in freezing temps not so much.
on a side note:
this dog doesn't seem to be growing in size. he was 7 lbs when we got him and now he's 30 pounds and still short/small. you pick him up and you think "how does this animal weigh so much." he's much heavier than an adult small breed dog that is his size.

This is why you don't street race. Taken from an E90 forum.
"Tonight I was going out to work to finish up a report. Its a nice cool night and I took the 335i. Well, I was in the slow lane and I see a set of HID lights pull up on my rear bumper fast! WTF?!? It changes lanes and it was a murdered out 350Z. Pretty much he was jabbing at his throttle getting me to run. I just stayed in the slow lane and cruised. After a minute or so of trying the driver side window rolls down and some idiot sticks his hand out and gives me a thumbs down. The guy zooms off and begins weaving through traffic.
I keep my pace and he gets stuck behind traffic. Again I am side by side with this clown and he again tries to get me to run. Well, I end up getting ahead of him, he changes lanes, and he begins to ride my ***. He was so close that I couldnt even see his headlights anymore. That's 1. I take a exit and he follows. Perfect. I call in to my co-worker who was on beat and told him to position himself should this idiot follow me into my city. My lane splits into 2 lanes and he gets beside me. The driver looks over and says," Hey *****.. lets see what that over priced piece of **** can do." and begins revving his engine. The light turns green and he peels out. That's 2.
Speed limit is 35 and he is doing about 50+. That's 3. The next light turns red and we end up next to each other again. Once again I get the verbal abuse. Driver: "Come on *****. I will smoke your ***." The Passenger: "What a ****** *****." I turn to them and said," You never know.. there might be cops around." Not sure who said it but I heard " **** the police". The light turns red and he burns out again. That's 4.
My bluetooth goes off and its my partner working beat. I roll up my window and answer my phone. I have him a description of the car and he said he was ready. Light turns green and he sees my partner who has his unit sticking out behind a safeway store and right when he passed my buddy lit his *** up. He pulls over and I pull in behind my buddy and put on my bullet proof vest that was in my trunk.
As my partner backed me up, I went up to the car and identified myself as the police and both of them were in shock. I got his driver license, registration, and insurance. He didn't say anything. I grabbed one of my buddy's cites n hit him up for speeding, exhibition of speed- 2 counts, tinted driver and passenger side windows, and Exhaust. As I filled out the cite I told my buddy to take them out of the car and to tell the driver that his car was getting towed as well.
I went up to the driver and explained to him what I was citing him for and that the Exhibition of Speed was a misdemeanor though we weren't going to arrest him but his car was now mine. He broke down and started to cry!!! Started whimpering and saying " I have finals tomorrow sir! How am I going to get to work?" "Please don't take my car!" The kid was 18 years old and he had to call his dad to pick him up. Needless to say the dad wasn't happy. Tow truck came and took the car. Pretty much he's going to have to pay around 400 bucks to get the car back.
I felt no pity. So lesson is, don't go picking races with people because you never know who you might run into. This kid learned the hard way."

Good stuff Chirp! I was cleaning my basement the other week and found a VHS CASSETTE for a VCR that says "ATCO" on it.. It must be some pre-2000 footage of my galant!! If only I had a VCR!!! Reminds me of when I was 17 and was beating up a group of impala SS guys at a bracket race at e-town ( I ended up finishing 2nd place) back in 1999.. I was a real ******* and was talking stupid to these guys to the point that the guy was going to hit me! He was yelling at me for 10 min. until security removed him, all because I beat him and put the 4 ways on. But he was talking down to me before the race and was trying to bet money that he would beat me by a second and I didn't know what I was doing dialing in at 13's lol I used to drive from allentown to e-town open downpipe because I was hardcore!

Old gvr4 racing stories are sweet, i love stuff like that. I'd love to see those old videos as well. Racing's really changed over the years even in the "short" time i been in the game.
I'm also on the lookout for a truck that's reasonably (cheap) priced if anybody sees anything.
