Your boy was but I think he got scared about spending the money around xmas time. I'm sure thats the issue for a lot of people... Doesn't help that a want a good amount of $ for them, but there clean, if they were beat up I would sell them for less. We'll see... it may take a while but they'll sell. I got time, autox is months away.

 

I think he's more scare of what tires are gonna cost him. He wants to run 255s on them. I'm trying to talk him out of needing 255 on a dd that doesn't even see past 3000 rpm... I dont know, some people just dont understand what good balance means. Some locals have been asking about my wheels and I dont see the point of selling them with the offers I've gotten. And I'm not even marketing them for sale...

You have to point me toward those deserted roads because 5.0 is coming down hard on Rt 30 and I need to finish my tune eventually.

 

This time of year, any major road is going to have mad 5.0. As if pa drivers weren't slow enough as it is. Now you have 5.0 sitting every mile apart so everyone is even slower now.

 

yeah there are a lot of cops out. i don't feel comfortable doing pulls on the backroads....not enough room. plus at this time of year i find a lot of frozen standing water in random spots. there are parts of 82 (north of brandywine hospital) that are straight and flat that you could do a pull or two on.

 

I'll have to find somewhere soon. I started from scratch about 2 months ago after making a few small changes (and accidently deleted my tuned map). I managed to get a nice solid basic tune but need to make final adjustments. I either have my son in the car, traffic is too heavy, my old laptop would act up, or there are police everywhere. I need like 3-6 good solid 3rd gear pulls and so far I made one with spark issues.
