I just had Jury duty for the first time. After a three day trial we found a 50 year old woman guilty of stalking. The defendant was a completely insane born-again Christian who couldn't find a 'spiritual lawyer' so she defended herself. I'm not trying to speak badly about religious people, this woman was crazier than 99% of born agains.

The Judge revoked her bail, and ordered that she be held pending a psychiatric evaluation. This was for a misdemeanor!

WOW! that crazy woman will find out what the term 'evil' really means in prison. At least you got an interesting one, the last jury duty I did I sat around for 6 hours and read until they finally let us go home.

josh, let's arrange either a cruise out there (nothing special) or getting a ride....which ever you'd like. your wife is having the baby soon? wow that seemed fast. looks like an interesting xmas.

and if there is one type of person i can't stand in the world it's people who proclaim themselves as christians. they are the most unaccepting and judgemental people around. not to mention their often contradictory lifestyles. i used to date a girl in miami who was turning "christian." she was totally confused and a total *****. she's married to some "minister" now and lives in ireland....she can't even speak english that well either. that metalcore band "august burns red" is awesome but they're christian also and some of their songs are straight up bible beating.

 

I think my car will be running before I head out to PA. Still waiting on my suspension and coilovers. I HOPE to have the tcase early next week.
