Nothing wrong with running stock plugs to 45k. I had 45k on mine when I swapped them out, even then I only did it because I was have boost issues. Iridiums can take way more abuse than copper.

Which meet are you refering too?


On a side note BestBuy just canceled my order for the wifes laptop I was going to get her for xmas. Mothersuckers!!! WTF? Now I gots to surf the interwebz all day trying to find a good deal.

speaking of which....i need a boost gauge and wideband myself.....oh and a custom tune. (this is my disclaimer for what i am about to post).

i just want to clarify something. so since i swapped out my fuel pump relay i've been having a lot more backfiring. loud hard ones from the rear not under the hoodish area. today i did a pull on 95 and blew a ton more smoke than usual and the backfired when letting off. this is because i am running a lot richer right? i know you can also have backfiring with really lean conditions too but am i describing rich afr's?

i plan to get tuned after the holidays sometime.

 

If your blowing alot of smoke I would assume its rich.
