Philadelphia Car Meets
Been in a conference all morning at work, and will be there the rest of the day, so I'll be pretty quiet today. Sucks to hear the dyno day is cancelled, hopefully they work out the issues. No CBRD for me, that was a long drive last time. Guess I'll see everyone on Sunday...those that show up that is.

Let me fill you in on a little secret, 1) they never stay as long as they say their going to, 2) Their never on time. I doubt she's stealing from you or anything, if you have suspicions of that well then I can understand...
sounds like a 20/20 sting operation you've got going on there. I can't believe you are paying for a dog sitter
Josh, isn't an E8 code mean the sensor isn't working correctly? Try a full recalibration like I described above, or just try another sensor you know is in good condition and see if that doesn't fix it. I've gone threw more then a few sensors on a bunch of different cars. Lots of things mess them up, leaded gas, anti-seeze, too much or too little heat... they are like women sometimes.

Your f-ed up... I'm glad its not my sister taking care of your dog. I wouldn't do this if I were you, your only going to make yourself mad and start an argument with someone who lives right down the street.

Watch it buddy! Thats how my sister makes her living. If you have a puppy and both you and your spouse work what else should you do? Let the dog mess itself all day long in a cage. That hardly seems fair.

it's also 9 weeks old and we're out of the house for 12 hours a day. can't leave a puppy in there like that. the crate is just enough space for him to move around a little bit.
plus i am feeding him 3 times a day still. he gained like 3 pounds last week and it noticeably bigger. i need a big dog.
maybe i should fire the pet sitter and throw him in the crate all day and just play that sarah mclachlan song that they play on that spca commercial all day.

Granted a little puppy like Dan's needs to LEARN not to **** in its crate and all that stuff, but they can and will learn. Eventually you will have them so well trained that they don't even need to be in their crate during the day or night. I took a few months for Avery get it down, but now she is so well behaved the only time she goes in her crate is when she wants to sleep or be alone. We always leave her crate open, what's the sense in having a dog if it can't alert you in the middle of the night cause its stuck in its crate.Dan, if you haven't already, do some research on NLF (Nothing in Life is Free). its an excellent training guide for dogs. It showed me all kinds of things, the most imporant being, just like children, pets need boundries and consistancy.
I was up that way this weekend. I have only seen one evo up there ever
You ever cruise up Rt 87 by eders ice cream?
My infared deer cams would work well. Some are about $100 bucks, not sure if thats cheaper than a web cam. If it wasnt the middle of season I would let you borrow one

Damn nice bucks sitting in the back yard I see!

If it flashes all the time even after a restart then it is a bad sensor. Mine does it after a transition from anything boost building to low throttle pretty much everytime. I went back to the original firmware at lunch and did about 60 miles of driving and it hasnt come back. It also fixed the gauge issues. Im keeping my fingers crossed. It looks like there is a bug in the newest firmware that a few people have issues with. Naturally Id be one of the lucky few to have it hit.
Id like to go to CBRD and I wont eat any food. Im going to check out what they have planned. The wife gave me the day to myself already and let me buy left 4 dead 2 last night. Something seems a little fishy but Ill take advantage.

Chip, that local dyno thing you mentioned on the 28th, is that in Lansdale @ PSIproformance or something like that? If so, those dudes are right around the corner from me. At night when its quiet I can hear them dynoing cars (sounds like mostly NA honda's). I was thinking about checking it out since its so close.
This sunday is a trial event for a new lot we hopefully will get @ the wachovia center right down the street from CBP.

I'll try and swing by the autoX but as of now im doubting it. Want to finish up a bunch of small projects on the car and relax since my thanksgiving break is starting this weekend.
There shop car was a big HP race honda and the clientele is mostly modified hondas but they did have a hacked bby evo8 claiming 4xxwhp.
EvoRob, you go to PSU?
It never ends. Apparently last night when I was playing around with my LC-1 on the engine bay firewall, I pushed my power steering hose over just enough for it to make contact with my timing belt (upper cover is off because it broke). A whole bunch of awesomeness ensued and now my engine bay is covered in a nice slick coating of power steering fluid. I wouldn't have even noticed it if I hadn't popped the hood to adjust my MBC.
I was there a few weeks ago with some friends. They bought philly dyno works old dynojet. I've heard some bad stories about the shop from years ago but from looks of it, its a new staff, new building, and there trying to get setup. Everything went smooth with the dyno, they strapped the cars down real well and were a cool group of guys. I look forward to going back on the 28th since a bunch of friends will be there, and the event is really shaping up.

They bought it a while ago but i never knew they had it up and running until recently. I was very skeptical on of them but everything went smooth. I wouldn't let them touch my car but the dyno was good.

FMIC choosing time. I looked at ETC, AMS, Perrin, and Buschur Racing. I'm thinking about going with the BR Street FMIC. I talked with Dave about it. I don't plan going near 900 HP and the car already has the upper IC pipe. I was planning on going with the BR for 5 reasons. Its cheaper, its proven performance, it rates up to 950 hp, I already have the upper IC pipe, and everything on my car is from BR already and I'm not a fan of mixing brands.
Let me know what you all think.

I've been meaning to check their shop out.
