Philadelphia Car Meets

I think you've seen it before Chip. Its the black FD that belongs to former owner of Philly Dyno Works.
Does anything ever happen down in the Delaware area out of curiosity?
I want to hit a track before the season closes - is something going on at Atco this sunday that has people going? Is it just an open test and tune day?

I know a guy who caught a fish off the coast of delaware last week and it was tasty, but other than that I dont think anything happens in Delaware.
Atco is having an import/muscle showdown of sort

Ryan so far I had phesant fingers, cajun phesant, some phesant in gravy and some wrapped in bacon and it was all good.
And Devilchild im pretty sure Oaks is done for the year, but im not sure.
I wasn't drunk and I just left my key on and woke up to a dead battery, and it happened about a month ago
But I may have told you this story
Buddy started his van and locked it outside the bar, I grabbed a rock to break his window and he said let me do it its my van, so I gave him the rock and he backed up and threw it into the side of his van missing the window. There is still a huge dent in his van and I cant remember laughing that hard ever.

just left for a day of Autox but I want to stop by and see the new place. Going to have to use my credit next year.
I'm a nub, so How does this work exactly?
O and one more thing, the new Season of Top Gear is HD sexy. Finalgear dot com is your friend.

To bad i can't make it on saturday, i'd like to meet up with everyone.
Haven't seen the car since it was starting to get taken apart for the rebuild. I've wondered for awhile what happened to Eric, the rx and everyone at the shop. I use to swing by almost ever couple months and see what was up at pdw. Loved going there, always something going on.

Robert, for the dyno day, you just have to sign up ($50 for 3 runs) and show up the day of. If you dont plan on running the car, just show up for the fun of it. As for Sunday, bring your brother along. Have him co-drive the car!
Chip, as you prolly know, they sold everything off. Eric's 7 is together and fully effective, although he never ever drives it. Both of Meng's RX7s occupy the shop now...the grey one is being torn down, and the red one is sitting pretty. I see and talk to Eric everyday, so I'll tell him you said hello.
I dynoed my 2g talon there i think twice, and had a bunch of my other cars there since there was always events. I got tons of videos from the place. I could go on and on with the stories. lol
A shame they sold off everything there were some of the coolest shop owners around that i knew. I actually just saw there old dyno 2 weeks ago, a bunch of my friends used it at the new shop.
Glad he got the 7 done it was pretty nice when he first got it. I remember he let this guy tune one of his customers 7's on the dyno that was nasty (3rotor HUGE turbo 6xx some whp) since the guy was going to help him get the 7 project fixed up. A friends cell phone video of the car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TBhuNF8f6k I'll have to load up my personal vids of it, i just never knew the exact setup and forget the dyno numbers.

I will offer him a chance to drive, but that decision will be made the night before the event. I would love to get a few more runs in for fun especially if the weather is nice like it was this past Sunday.
Cool, I think I might come over for the dyno event just to watch.

chu, i was thinking about you this morning when a guy in a stock mustang gt wanted to show me his "blistering" acceleration.
i don't drive everyday anymore but the time that i do, i can't believe that 1) there really are ricey people out there and 2) they try to show off and it really ends up being a sad show. for example, i passed a dude in a lowered murdered audi A3 (never seen one modded before). I passed him doing like 3mph faster than him so it wasn't some fly by. he starts driving next to me while spooling his turbo so his BOV goes psssst like 10 times in like a minute. seriously? i wonder what he was thinking to himself after he pulled away.
i find it entertaining that there really are people like that out there. i don't normally experience that in my wife's corrolla on typical commuting days.
