There is a winter series if your interested... Also, autoxing is a fantastic way to learn what your car is capable of, not to mention the fact that there's always planty of instructors to help out when your looking for a little guidance. Its cheap and safe fun.

Ok, so Will at the Shell station with the TB Viii's heater core just went and it really sucks because now he has to spend crazy money, but when he called the dealer for the part they told him that this is the first heatercore they EVER SOLD since the evo 8-9's been out. It just really shocks me because if it is true he will be the first to replace this part (atless in the NE area & from what Cherry hill mitsu says) and that our motors are that gangsta! 4G63 FTW!

Haha yeah I guess.

I'll have to think about it. 33K and still on stock clutch. Trying to make it last long. Also don't want to damage the car in anyway. Just got it a little less than a month ago. Plus I think I'm storing it over the winter. Blah... I want to! Decisions Decisions...

I know a guy who has one. He's parting out an evo down to the bare metal so he has a ton of stupid stuff. Pm 91tsiguy on here, or call JMFab and ask to speak to brent or Jim about there evo parts car.

Autoxing won't hurt your clutch... its not drag racing, no lauching involved (unless you want to and theres room). I'm modded (lightly) and on my stock clutch stilling at 64k. Also, if you've never driven an Evo in the snow you have no idea what your missing.

99% of the time it is the heater control linkage that is the cause of no heat.. Tell him to take it apart and inspect the linkage and cables before he goes ordering a heater core.. Also tell him I need 2 cars inspected this week!

On a side note I got word last night that the dyno is back up and running.. Anyone have any suggestions for the new dyno day date?

I am supposed to be tuning the 600hp+ 08 Denali this week so it may make some exhibition runs The goal is 11 second 1/4 mi.

Thats what I do. Way too many variables on the coils to worry about messing with them, especially when the driver isn't even dialed in. I set everything at the T&T back in April and haven't touched it since.

truth! NObody is going to point and laugh, infact just the opposit, everyone will try and help you go faster. Its a great, safe, cheap way to explore the limits of your car and driving.
