I'll be there hopefully at 10am when they open. I have work that night so i won't be able to stay all day. I got a handful of friends running their cars so i'll just be videoing everything the whole time.
I was going to run my car but figured it wasnt worth spending money twice, since it will get dynoed when i get it tuned which will probably be in the spring.
I heard the event is sponsored by Advanced Auto parts and there will be free food there now.
The dyno is first come first serve, so if anyone is planning on running get there early as possible, pay the shop, get your ticket and be ready to go.

I dont think the headstuds make any difference Pete. Not like it adds to anything. You just need some stickier tires for sure.

I'm not sure if Rolandas moving to PRO was a permenant move, or merely for that day. I talked to him and he said they asked him to switch to pro to even out the run orders. We'll have to wait and see.

 

Chu, you have any pictures of your car running those 20mm spacers? Looking to sell them? Just curious, still debating what i'm going to do.

Chip, I'm at work and dont have access to any pics. I'll pm you tonight or something. Like I said, you could borrow them to get an idea of what you want to do. If you like them, then throw me a price after trying them on. I wouldn't want you stuck with them if you decide not to use them later.

Trying to get my big ballin Evo Customer to let me put a AEM, Cams, Springs, Retainers and turbo upgrade on his evo.. Then ill go to Pete get it tuned, then make him sell it to me lol....

I just installed the V3's and some 18" tenzos on it. Looks really nice.

 

Is your customer interested in a full titanium exhaust? I have a brand new one sitting at home...

 

Nah, he has a brand new megan. He's not like that type. Like he will spend 2-3G but I have to show him a bunch of stuff. Like he wanted rims, but I showed him Rims, Tires, Lugs, Suspension and thats how I was able to get him to want it.

 

So I have to stop by and give him a ride in my car for him to spend the money on more power mods? lol

 

The AEM is kind of wasted money IMO. The factory ECU has been proven to be more than capable and you'll never have any issue passing emissions like you would with an EMS. Do they really need one?

 

I know they don't make a difference in power but they are illegal in BSP, thats all I mean't.
It would be great if his switch was permenant, one less cat to worry about. Now if we can just get the Mikita family to make the switch too... *holds chin and looks skyward*

 

The Mikitas are switching to SM.

 

I just haven't had time to pick them up, 20mm sounds big to me on stock wheels with just springs but from searching around it looks good. I'm just curious on price to have an idea of what you would be looking for.
I'll def have to find something for the rear tho, you ever run any back there?
