Check engine came back on today for a new code. PO401. I believe that's the EGR code, and a vacuum line might be loose. Anyone want to confirm?

Mine used to come off constantly too. Put some super glue just inside the vacuum hose and slip it on. That fixed it for me, but removing it in the future might suck.

i had that code but it was the EGR solenoid under the intake mani. it could be a cracked line or popped of hose, but my code was for the solenoid itself because it has a really small crack on it and that my friend will do it for ya.....

Thanks guys. I'll be at the old Philly Dyno shop tomorrow and take a look at it. Hopefully, it's a loose line and not a cracked one, or cracked valve itself.

I may end up just going with the StarSpecs as the NT-01's don't have enough depth to really handle any water. They look like they would have awesome grip in the dry though...
The nt01s are fine in water. I drove them through snow and ice and didn't die. I got almost 6k beating the living snot out of them running -3.1 front camber and -1.7 rear on an 08 STI. I'm not your typical driver though so you might not be fine with them. I don't mind sliding around a lot.

what I would do in your shoes is keep all season tires on those winter wheels for daily duty and get some a6's on the other wheels. that will net you the best performance @ the autox and you can still use the all season tires for pocono. its a PITA, but if you want to get the quickest times you need the best tire and to run that tire you're going to need to change rims before each event.
It's not the easiest thing to get nt01s to temp on the street.

I hear ya Marc... I don't know what to do. Luckily or unluckily for me this house has me flat broke. I'm gonna have to wait a little while to make any decision as to what I'm going to do. Not to mention I want to get me clutch done soon.

Hows the wife and my baby? j/k

Yeah but do you autox? I could see 6k of street driving, you throw a dozen or so events on them and there not going to last nearly that long. I've seen people use them for the street, just don't know if I want to do the same. What do they come with 6/32's or so?

It could also be that carbon fiber intake causing the CE light. Might want to get rid of it.
