I need to find a good place to give my car a hand wash in Philly. I've been too lazy, and it's been too cold, to detail it myself.

Yea I was going to get a wash today there but I didn't have time. $20 for a wash and vacuum is def worth washing it yourself and coating your car with ice in sub 30* weather.

We have a nice closed automatic brushless wash in town with an underbody sprayer that I use all the time in the colder months.

Philadelphia has the wost self service car washes in the history of the world or even the galaxy.. IT is pathetic how the owners do not keep these places in working order, 90% of them just spray sewage without soap, smells great I tell ya!

I got the spot for ya Chu. Heated pressure washer, pull the car into an 80degree bay to dry and detail. Lots of lights
The only catch is you gotta do mine too

Here at work we have a 3800psi pressure washer powered by a honda engine (16hp).. IT send a 50lb bellhousing across the parking lot, and when I turned it off (spark) it let loose a very large and orage flame out of the exhaust for about 4 seconds.. IT's pretty sweet but I am afraid it will take the paint off my car

Yea ours is huge. Diesel, about half the size of the evo. I think its 7500psi

The water it heated to 350 and it still freezes on the side of the salt trucks as your washing. When your done your surrounded by an ice rink.

I don't mind as long as you have warm water and I get to wash inside!

Gotta wash outside with warm water and then pull in the shop. Its 80 degrees all day in our shop.

I can get access to a heated wash bay but it might cost some money

Thats what the laborers were using to de-ice the turbine we were building at bear creek..We were building at temps below zero and up to 75mph winds lol, it froze anyway!

Heres one of my rental vehicles from enterprise, needless to say they banned me.. Turns out a guy on TST had to clean out the trucks I rented, he said he was loving life!

^^^Thats awesome. This year in South Dakota we romped our enterprise car up to a wind farm that was being constructed. You wouldn't relize how big those things are untill you see them on the ground and on trailers. I would guess one blade is close to 100' long.

Rentabeatacars FTW

I learned how to do burnouts when I was 8 in a rental intrepid.
We were at Disney world and I went over a couple parking blocks.

Each blade was about 39 meters long and the tower sections were 115 meters tall before the nacelle (top box) was put on.. The best part is engaaging the brake for the blades when you are at the top, once you lock it in it swings about 20 ft. back and fourth initally lol
