Some of these post's crack me up.
Bunch of goof's around here. Who on earth sold you guys these cars?
Haha.

Speaking of meets, I want to FINALY head to a meet someday soon. I also want to plan something big in march or april when it gets a bit warmer out here. Would love to get something good off a couple of forums (except NASIOC, f^cK THEM! haha kidding) and just have a rather big import meet and perhaps a drive to like Sonic then KOP or whatever. That would be bad-***! I could get a friend to bring his Van and Dj equipment for music or whatever, get a grill going or huge beer-b-que, uh I mean Bar-B-Que, And hope for like 100+ cars to show

That would be pretty awesome.
I suck at organizing things though. ^_^

I wish we could get all the evos in the northeast area and crash the g.u.m.ball rally party that ends in New York City on May the 7th. That would definitely be something. If we could drawf their Rally (only about 125 cars) then we would make the news and immortalize the event. People would be like WTF? Make it like one of those flash mobs only with evos. It won't happen but it would be fun.

Bar-b-que sounds great.

If someone plans a BBQ, lets make sure the food gets there! Those who went to the last one should be laughing right about now!

Hahaha, well then everyone should go out and bring something and not put the whole fund on only one person.

Like a pack of meet and a few rolls.
And BYB/BYD.

To cold for that though right now.
Unless you all want to meet in 20 Degree weather and have a bar-b-que anytime soon. That sounds like a great plan. ^_^

I vaguely remember that meet involved at least a pack of hot dogs or something like that, and Jeff hooked us up with burgers during the cruise. That's why hooters was a good idea. We got cheap beer and none of us had to remember to bring food.

Hooters was good times. I'm down for the meet on the 23rd Dan.

Who's running aftermarket pistons in their motor? What do you have? Can someone also explain to me the advantages of a higher compression piston over a lower, given everything else is static. This guy building this dam thing asked me to search up 10.0 compression Wiseco pistons, which I dont like by the way. The block is on order!

Yeah, maybe next time I won't introduce myself to people I already know then ask who they are again later. I used to run a 9.0:1 Wiseco piston on my old 2.3L and my eclipse. I wouldn't go higher then that on pump gas because it lends itself to detonation and there's no advantage to a street car on boost. There's really not much in terms of power gain either, maybe a few extra HP. It can help with spoolup sometimes but again, not enough to make it worthwhile. I've seen some people run in the 10:1 range on boost, but they're pretty much race gas/drag only. I'd say stick with an off the shelf lower compression.
All this talk of building motors makes me want to snag a 4G64 and give the stroker another try. I have a 2.4L crank calling my name in the garage.

Dude, this is probably the best idea i have heard in a long long time!! We should try for at least 100 evos to all go up to NYC for the end of the gumball. I am so in for that!!

Dan the 23rd is good for me too.

I will be nice and stop talking about my cowboys because we will just let saturday night do the talking.

ok cool. so chu/josh/erik are penciled in so far.

i will supply food. no biggie if i run out as there is plenty of places very very close by. i am going to ask people to byob. i will have stuff and am willing to share but i'd like to see what the beer mongers of the group bring. and feel free to take it when you leave (F etiquette). I know that impacts what i bring if i know i just have to leave it to someone possibly less appreciative.

I hope you're nice because at least a few of us lift a lot of weights and are hardcore eagles fans. A huge meet would be awesome, but they tend to fall apart or we end up with a bunch of tools doing burnouts in their moms minivans. The smaller one's are always cool because most of the guys that show up are really laid back.
