Philadelphia Car Meets
Yea Japanese and Thai. I read in Philadelphia magazine that Teikoku is like one of the best overall restaurants in the area. I gotta get there sometime and have some fish.
Anyone on this thread going to try to make this tri-state meet being held the beginning of May?
Speaking of good asian food, you could make an good excuse to go to Philly's China town for dinner or lunch after going to the Philly Autoshow starting this month.

I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food... its alright. I'm always hungry in hour after eating it. I will say PF Changs is OK at best. Lettuce wraps are pretty good, we ate at one last year when we were in AZ. Flemmings is over rated too... we ate there last year for my birthday. I prefer Pietro's Prime in West Chester.
Robert, anytime we go to the auto show, we always go to RTM afterwards... love that place.

i agree with fleming's being overrated and overpriced. it is just another mainline restaurant that feels they are superior because they are on the mainline and the serve people who feel that they are superior.
i ate at pietro's prime in west chester over the summer. great steak place. west chester's got a lot of restaurants but a lot of the food in those places are just ok except for spence cafe which was really good.
pete, have you tried allegria in exton yet? that is probably the best italian food you'll find in the states. it's byob and literally 1 mile from your house (if that far).
Anyone try highstreet cafe in WC? Have some delicious interesting foods like XXX shrimpg chopped cajun alligator woth a spicy mustard sauce and awesome gumbo. BYOB an I think they jus got a limited liquor license.
my wife and i were planning on going to pf chang's this past saturday but upon getting into the car we decided to do riverstone in exton instead.

Yes, I have eaten at Allegria, not in a number of years though. I remember thinking it was good, just haven't been back for whatever reason. Italian is one that we don't go out and eat very often. We ate at Lemoncello in WC for Shel's b-day back in Nov, that was pretty good.

Anyone interested in doing a day for a meet at the Autoshow and Asian cuisine afterward?
Maybe some of us could carpool that are outside the city?
Fleming's is located in a couple of states not just pa... I know there's one in Baltimore at/near Fells Point.

ryan, i'll have to get over to the high street cafe. maybe i will this weekend.
btw does anyone know if i can get the last UFC fight that was on PPV this past weekend for the 23rd. I figure that would be something awesome to have playing when everyone is over.
i'd be interested in doing the autoshow with you guys on here. i never have anyone that likes/knows cars to go with.
