Philadelphia Car Meets
I have the same BOV but didn't put it on the EVO. I adjusted the spring all the way to hard on my DSM and I had no driving issues when pulled out of gear. Just the car ran a little rich probably robbing performance. I loved the way it sounded, that fitting makes it sound nice.
almost forgot... track schedules for 2010 are already starting to come out. I'm signed up for a weekend at NJMP Lightning in April with 6 other people so far. there is a special rate for the weekend of $333-$383 (depending on your skill level), thats damn cheap for two days of racing, but the special expires Feb 1st. If you're interested in trying it out give me a email @ alwaysinboost at msn dot com and I'll forward the info along. Its easier for me to get my email then check this site.
I've got it setup with the single spring mod and only a couple turns of the adjustment screw. its probably leaking a little, though. when I tested it on the bench it wouldn't hold perfect vacuum like the JDM MR valve does. I'll know for sure when I do a boost leak test.
I thought Philly wasn't going to have a winter auto season this year. Then I checked the site, and BAM! Schedule is :
Event #1 - Sunday, January 31st - Wachovia Center
Event #2 - Sunday, February 21st - Citizen's Bank Park
Event #3 - Sunday, March 14th - Delaware Park
All really great lots too! Needless to say, the coilovers may go on early...too bad I already sold the RPF1s! Who's going to join me?

Now is a great time to start learning how to align your car. I am going to be sending my coilovers out for service and some tweaking after the first event and will be realigning car prior to the second event in my garage. If you want to see how I screw it up you are more than welcome to watch/help me
& learn. No one that you pay $ to will take the time and align your car right like you would do to your own car, that has been my experience at least.

BTW for any beer people.
Nugget Nectar will be available in 12oz bottles in the next week or two, and Bell's Hopslam is coming as well!

What coilovers did you get? I am pumped about the winter series too, but I did know they were having something.

I trust R/T to do that type of stuff. They did a really good job for me last time..maybe cause I name-dropped Marc Cantor's name! Where do you live Mike? i would love to come over and see how this process goes. I have a set of Ohlins coming, but nothing like what you have! How about you let me see how those slicks fit on my car?

Cantor's got pull, still there's nothing like doing it yourself.
I am running Ohlin's too, what did you get DFW's? You are more than welcome to test fit my 285's under your car, but I can tell you the front fender needs to be pulled/flared/rolled out. The rear is a little more involved, the inside lip on your rear wheel well will need to be folded in (small hammer gently tap it in and go slow holding your hand on outside of metal) and then it will need to be rolled. A baseball bat and jack really works fine if you have the touch.
I let you know when I am going to align it and you guys can come over. I plan on buying a heater for my garage, it is friqqin cold in there.
On another note I left my Braile hooked up since the last event, the battery won't take a charge now
bye bye $150 or $200 whatever it costs to replace. I have a spare Deka for now, but that one is 5 lbs. heavier than the Braile, another thing to buy now!
