Any of you guys ever adjust you clutch pedal? I adjusted mine yesterday and I think I turned it the correct way, I am just looking for some confirmation. I loosed the nut and turned the rod towards the outside of the car. I can't tell whats clockwise as I was laying on my back.
I need to make the engagement to be lower, my pedal was almost all the way out before the clutch would grab. I think it felt better afterwards, just not 100% sure. I didn't want to go to far incase I was going the wrong way.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pete, turn the rod "in", towards the engine bay, if you want it to engage lower.
That should be clockwise if you're sitting in the drivers seat facing the pedal. You should also bleed the clutch and see if that improves anything.

BTW, I finally hit 100k on my EVO! woohoo

Thanks Chu,
I read the "how too" on here also. Still not 100% sure, I think I was going counter-clockwise. I'm pretty sure it felt a little better afterwards.

How did you sneak this in before my other post???

Yeah I turned it towards the firewall, made the bolt shorter. I could probably even go a little further if I wanted too. I'm teaching Shelly how to drive a stick cause she wants to buy a Cooper. I told her if she can learn to drive my car she'll fine. Hopefully the clutch will hold up, she's not that good yet.

Marc, congads on the accomplishment. Did you happen to cross the threshold wilst autocrossing yesterday? lol...

You trapped 112mph which isn't too bad. That is certainly good enough for mid 12's, and maybe low 12's if you drive the heck out of it.

I was trapping 114 in my stock turbo VIII, but was on meth. Boy do I miss that power... Boost is addicting! But I guess I don't need to tell you guys that

trust me the turbo is good for 120 on pump. pete has already shown that. i need to learn to drive. i was shifting slow, and too low (7k), my launch was pathetic, and i let off before the 1/4mile marker. i need some practice to say the least.

congrats on hitting 100k i hope you got a picture. thats a hell of an acomplishment.
