Philadelphia Car Meets
I never cared for Jim's. My family's been in south philly since the early 1900's, we've been eating at Pat's since they opened. I haven't had a cheese steak from there in about 12 years though. One of these days when I'm at CBP I'll swing by and see if it still lives up to the hype.
none of them live up the hype. i ended up at jims on saturday night drunk as hell and all 4 people agreed it was the worst steak weve ever had. dry and flavorless. genos, wel i dont care if its god's gift to the cheesesteak hes an arrogant ethnocentric tool. pats is solid but honestly ive had better.
recently had tony lukes for teh first time and i was more impressed with the roll than anything else, but much better than pats/genos fare.
delsandros, nicks, steves.. all solid cheeesesteaks.
next up... ****** as its peteyturbos favorite.

I don't know how well steak-um will work on the grill, but you can try it if you like Marc. Yes, I still plan on tailgating. I think I'll most likely just bring a pack of dogs with me. Burgers would be nice but there a little more work.
******? Is that owned by asian people or something? My peoples can haz part of cheesesteak war? I bet the secret ingredient is soy sauce! haha.
Pete, let me know if you would like me to bring anything. I dont want to feel like a free loader.

come to think of it steakum probably wouldn't work at all on the grill. I'm not much of a cooker, more of an eater.
I can bring dogs, burgers, buns or whatever just let me know.
