I used to live in Honey Brook and had a really long driveway that wrapped around the big white farmhouse we rented. When it snowed we used to go down the road in my old GST and brother in laws 911, get up to around 25 mph and drift into the driveway and around the house. He drifted anyway, I kind of just spun tires and slid. Good times until the landlord saw us doing it. I've never drifted the Evo in the snow but the STI I had got to see action in the lot at work.
Looks like upwards of 20 inches and it's going into tomorrow morning.

i have all seasons and they are useless in the snow....well better than stock summer tires for sure. no drifting for me. i really need to get some snow tires at some point. all i can do it pretty much drive around, taking it easy but i don't feel confident letting it slide at all.

kevin, i am with chu, just hammer a smaller socket on the lug and torque away. if you don't want to do that autoparts store sell sockets that can grab and turn it for you. or go to your nearest tire place and slip someone a couple bucks to break loose for you.

this snow is crazy. i just shoveled the driveway so it won't be hell later and it is heavily covered again.

Just got in from my round 2 of this snow storm with a fellow evo. He said the ACD didn't really do that much when drifting. Found a lot we usually go to but the snow was really high, its better when there is like 3 inches or so on the ground, you can get more speed. I like getting sideways around turns though.

Gotta drive to work at 4 till 9. Should be fun.

careful drifting too much guys, our center diffs won't like all that rear slipping. having said that, I'm down for some sideways fun. lets pick a spot.

This is the first year I've owned a snow blower. It's like 15 years old and sounds like it's knocking a bit but it's awesome! I did our 3 car driveway and the entire sidewalk in 15 minutes. I might do my neighbors just for fun and I still have energy to go downstairs and workout. How did humanity survive without the awesomeness of a snow blower?

I think the snow is supposed to stop in the early morning so I would think the roads will be manageable by 3.
