So I went to the dealership today and got my recall work done. They marked down my HKS filter, yeah thats a huge mod right there be careful out there for those who might want to do the same. lol. The word I got from them was no aftermarket stuff on the car while it's under warranty or I could be denied work if something fails. Basically it's all gotta pass inspection by a Mitsu tech for warranty work. Plus I may be putting in crap gas, plus I may not have needed the new fuel relay fuse. Mitsu would rather it fail then allow them to replace it then not charge me for it. But it should be under warranty if it does fail. Too late I already replaced it, I suppose I could put the old one back, let it fail and then when I need the new one I have and then get my money back with a reimbursement. But apparently I can't work on my own car, that's a no no. And last but not least $18 to reset the light that comes on and says you need to get it inspected basically just an oil change. Seriously?
