this morning a base lancer (late model) showed me his blistering acceleration i seriously don't know what he was trying to prove.

josh and pete keep your eye out for an apex silver lancer with license plate mystry8 or something. it was a "mystry" why he felt he had to do between 90-100 down 322 bypass.

yeah i know. i am not that sensitive. i was just wondering what you thought of it if you did try one out. i hear mixed things when coming from an older evo as i am sure you do too.

that's cool. i am coming to realize that a truck as a DD is not a bad idea. i can't say bouncing around over bumps and tons of body roll is fun but it does serve a good purpose.

congrats on the new ***** magnet.

yeah, it seems 'most' people with VIII/IX's dog the X and vise versa. alot of people have a hard time admitting their car is inferior to another car, I guess its a pride thing. I've heard good and bad about both. My opinion is very biased because I've never driven an X and I love the VIII/IX, but I don't think either is a bad choice, it comes down to what you want out of the car.

solid axle & leaf springs FTMFW!! After driving this thing around all week the EVO is gonna feel like an exotic Italian sports car.

Your probably used to that kind of stuff by now, no?

Once, in n-town a guy in a R32 came up along side me and made sure I knew his BOV was working. I was going to give him a thumbs up but he nails it through the light while I made a left.

That stinks, I may have to do some convincing. My wife is not going to drive there anymore, so it's worth it to them to let me transfer the membership to someone who will use it. I'm sure that will make sense to them.

Nice new DD too, that's definitely a ***** wagon.

yeah but it gets old. as i get older i notice this behavior is from the youngins. people with actual fast cars (not that i have some super fast evo or anything) aren't blatantly trying to street race at rush hour.

plus this guy let it RIP i followed him half heartedly accelerating until he was going way too fast for the road. I don't need to be caught doing that stuff. I drive my wife's corrolla around and I can't imagine how much of a douche i would feel like by trying to show off to something built to be run hard.

there is this other dude i see on 95 that gives me the most obvious ricer fly by all the time. i'll pass him going a few mph faster and he'll slow down then. reeeeeeeer pssst right past me at like 65-70. it never ceases to entertain me.

Nice pickup! Is the Exige the one with the supercharger on it? If its the one I'm thinking of they're like $70k new or something like that.

Is this going to be your daily up there in MA?

Have you done much research on them? A buddy of mine was thinking about going to a lotus, but heard that with the one piece clam-shell body you can basically total the car by something as stupid as jacking it wrong or even (gulp) hitting a block of wood on the highway.

Anyone doing the winter series autox @ NJMP this Saturday? ITs only $35 to race, no SCCA membership needed.

New fuel system? Where does it end Chu...? That girlfriend is getting awful ancy, good thing shes not around to see you drop all this $ on your whip.

I want to know why you didn't sell me your turbo before you sold your car? Srsly though, what did you buy? I'm gonna say its not another Evo. You find work yet brother?
Nothing big. Just injectors, fuel rail, pressure regulator, and whatnot. I figure its already out when I put the manifold off so I'll get her done. All in case I go big one day!

I got some spare RPF1's in almost new condition if you or anyone else is interested. No rash, no curb marks, washed weekly.
