Half my engine is held together with zip ties. I'm usually **** about tying everything down. As a mechanical tech I see just how badly things can go when you don't realize a wiring harness or air line is in the way of something. This time though I got lazy.

I live for that stuff. It's annoying sometimes, but can be entertaining. I always have a mustang and camaro in the morning that give me a hard time. That's getting old.

I just borrowed my friends Firebird this past week while I fixed mine. It's got to be around 400 HP by now and still felt slow, didn't stop for anything and I could almost count to ten after turning the wheel before it actually started going where I wanted. It was also fun attempting to drive in the fog last week without HID's.

Off topic a bit but there's 2 Skylines in downingtown from what I've seen, a white GTS and a dark grey or black GTR I pass from time to time picking m son up. Kind of weird given their extreme rarity in the states. I'd give my left testie for one of them.

We'll I'm jealous, thats a pretty hardcore car, DD'ing that thing in MA makes you even more HC. You BETTER do right by that thing and take it to its 'native environment'.

I'll never forget, I was @ a Red Sox game in MA when I frist saw a new lotus drive by us in the lot while we were tailgating. It was that yellowish orange color and the whole crowd of people around us just stopped and stared with their mouths open like they saw a Veron or something Everyone was like WTF is that thing.

cool story abou the car. while its not priced like an exotic, it certianly has the looks and 9/10th the capability. reminds me of an evo in that sense. and youre right, this car makes a evo rs look like a camry

On the topic of Skylines, I have seen only the brand new GT-R 35 in the area and no other models. It was silver with a more **cough** aged driver behind the wheel.

It's not just dudes either. Last week in a parking lot at Genuardi's I saw a more mature women who I noticed had unnaturally dark brown hair for her age walking up to toward a Nissan 350z with what looked like a kit. I was watching her because she looked lost or maybe just waiting for someone. Seemed to me like a walker wouldn't be out-of-place in her hands. I thought OK where is the owner of that beast, do I have enough time for this? Can I walk more slowly to my car at the other end of the parking lot and eye up this car for a bit and look like a total newb? I stood there for a second to try and figure out what it was at first, because it look like a 350z but a little different. Then this more mature women starts to walk along side the car, I think ok lady just keep walking this ain't your scene. Then she hits the unlock button with the key remote the light indicators flash for a second and I'm like no way. Let's see you drive that thing outta here then. She slides behind the wheel then her similarly aged friend turns up with a grocery bag and jumps shot-gun and they pull out as I stood there shocked and scratched my head. Noticed a NISMO badge on the rear as she pulled out. So I chalked it up as awesome health or banging meds, either way they aren't slowing down with their choices of cars. Good for them, but geez what's the point?

american muscle? why, so someone can rent my new car on their trip to florida? no thanks. as for the Z, i drove it and really liked it to be honest. but the lotus is just cooler.

youre just butthurt cause youre not getting the first ride. you wanna try tooning it? there doesnt seem to be any open source tuning going on.
i got some parts in mind... smaller pulley, bigger intercooler, walbro 190l some injectors, exhaust, ported ex. manifold. intake. maybe the horse wants to get into lotuses (loti?) next.

remember peter, it weighs 2k, 250whp would feel like 400whp in a evo. and i plan on getting the weight down a bit too. 2pc rotors, lighter wheels (te37 in matte black i think) exhaust, mini battery, rear panel delete. i bet i can get below 2100lbs with me in it no problem.
