I'm sorry to report that the RS will very likely be going up for sale. I'm going to buy a house in the coming months, and the Evo may have to go. I'm trying to figure out how to keep it, but it will be difficult.

If anyone knows someone looking for a super clean IX RS, send them my way.

Just looked up how to reset the "Periodic Inspection" light in the manual. What the f' is wrong with the dealership trying to charge me $18 for that? They should just come out and be honest and just say "hey you want us to reset your Periodic Inspection light for you for $18, or you want to do by yourself for free?, It's up to you but we have a highly trained Mitsu tech that will do it for you and he really knows how to do it right even though you could do it too". LOL

The other thing that pisses me off, this guy that ran the team there swore up and down that they have a special computer costs thousands of dollars and you can't just do it yourself. Either he is enormously inept and didn't understand what I was talking about or he is just one super huge a-hole and likes to f' people for the hell of it. Rant over sorry.

You only have yourself to blame for that one Robert, no excuses. My brother is a mechanic as well, and he said the manual is one of the most important, but also neglected piece of document that comes with a car. Alot of small things could be found in there, but people just dont care to look. At least now, you know.

Ben, sucks you're thinking about letting her go. That thing is so clean. Are you parting out anything?

Good thing is I never paid and they never did it, so I'm happy that I didn't get burned on it. It's just the experience of being lied too especially when its delivered with a smile and some air of authority like I don't know sh.t. I'm no tech but I can read.

Oh yeah, good thing you didn't. I bet the guys with TPMS on their evo x kick themselves every time they go to the dealer to reset the system.

It's not a done deal. I'll keep it if my insurance doesn't double switching to a Philadelphia zip code, or if I buy a less expensive house. The car would be staying in the garage at my mothers house in the burbs, I need to check with my insurance guy to see if that would keep the premiums the same. If i go for a more expensive house I'll probably need to get some money out of it to get a 20% down payment together. Unfortunatley I can't wait too long, as I have to find a place by the end of April to get the $8,000 tax credit. I know that if I sell it, I will very likely regret it for many years to come...

If I sell, I would probably sell the Nt03/*specs and suspension components. It hurts to ever talk about. I should definitely keep it.

If your using an MBC then go down a few rounds. This cold weather will make you turbo spike like a ****. As far as a tuner, PeteyTurbo @ CrazyHouse Customs, Ivey, CBRD... theres a bunch.

I thought you were buying Chu's wheels? Stop calling dibs and buy something already... j/k

I think my wheels are sold I'm happy to report. I have to go get the tires off today and get them packed up.
