shifting from 2nd and up is butter, just took me some time to realize how to drive it in first gear, but that may have more to do with the lightweight flywheel as well. not sure what kinda power your making but ive been running 21lbs daily and im at just over 12K miles and it still feels great. nice choice you wont be dissappointed!

I ordered mine through FTP NYC, there a vendor on here. They got me the best price by far. I shopped around for 2 weeks before I actually ordered. I think the flywheel will cause the intial engagement to be a little rougher. I think I'm just going to have my stocker resurfaced. I'm sure I'll be happy with it once its in. I don't think I'll have it installed until the spring, probably April or sometime around then.

depending on how much the machine shop takes off of your flywheel you may want to consider moving the pivot ball over to compensate and geep your stock geometry. Just something to take into consideration.. IMHO for how much of a PITA it is for a clutch job I would just throw a new lw flywheel on there and not have to worry.

Ok but it really has nothing to do with the install, more to do with the parts, and I doubt they have the aftermarket pivot *****..Just bring it up to them and see what they say..Make sure you know exactly how much material was taken off the flywheel because some machine shops just mow it down without even checking..

Not sure what you mean by that unless you are referring to machinists..It's always a good idea to know how much material is removed because I have seen some flywheels cut down to the point of no return, and the more you take off, the more you need to give back via pedal adjustment..
I'm not saying they will do that, but just saying

petey,

i certainly know what you mean, we measure each flywheel when they come out, to make sure they havent been machined before.

i had a wrx that was already cut twice once when we pulled it out lol.

I stay away from Jersey... Interested to know what kind of traps you'll hit. I think Caleb trapped around 115mph (I think) in his car w/ BBK full.

I can say however I just got out of my car and after not driving it for a week and with these cold a$$ temps she was pullin like a freight train. Time away truely does make the heart grow fonder. To think I was pondering getting rid of it... rubbish.
