The six puck was what messed up the tranny I mentioned above. For his setup, I wouldn't recommend a six puck. Twin disk is the way to go if you have the budget though...I would love one!

Maffyou, when can I schedule an appointment for that ride?

EDIT:

By the way, he is looking for something at $20K, or $22K at the very highest.
there's a nice IX MR sitting at Jefferson Motors on Ridge in Norristown. It a good mom and pop's place even though the "pop" just shot himself after losing tons of money in the market. his daughter runs the place now. here is a link

I would not due an ACT due to lock-out issues. It would be my luck to have the problem with my car. I understand you guys all say it's OK but a lot of others don't. Sticking with the clutchmasters... besides its good to be different.

lock out issues are with the street disc not the 6 puck..But I wish you luck, hopefully it will work out with no problems.

Thanks pistol!!!

Yeah, I wanted to stay with a full faced, I did not want to get a puck style. It would be overkill for my set-up. I spoke with the vendor they're going to send me a label to ship it back.

Thanks guys...

I had lockout issues with my VIII on the ACT street. When shifting into 4th while drag racing, it would NOT go into gear. I adjusted it, and was fine for a run or two. And then I would have lockout all over again. I was out of room adjusting!!!

While it is a good disc and very streetable, the lockout issue turned me off to them. I won't be putting one in my X.

I went there, but the bugger would not let us test drive it. Apparently you need a fully approved finance and down payment to be able to test drive one of their cars. I live like 5 mins from there, it was THE first place we went to when we found out they had one.

that is ridiculous. they are seriously hurting themselves by being so strict. i had my eye on that ms3 for 17k but not going to dump money and financial info until i could drive it.

apparently the owner killed himself because the carvision up the street just anihilated his business then he lost all kinds of money in the market. it was not even 3 months ago he did this.

if you live around there. i believe i've seen you (in a GG X) ripping past me on xmas eve on trooper road just south of ridge. you nearly took my paint off and it was snowing too...lol.

That'd be my brother-in-law!! we must've made like 4 trips to firestone on ridge pk/main st that day to have my camry fixed. He was here for the holidays and he crashed my camry's front passenger into the curb on a turn 'cause he slid on ice. I told him like 10 times that this was not NC and he couldn't drive like that. I hope it finally sunk in!!!

Tell me about it. But he actually crashed the camry at the left turn for the second entrance to the mall after Gulph road while driving north on Dekalb/202.

dude my wife hit the same median in her 2002 corrolla.....she hit HARD! and there was no damage, no change in alignment or damage to the wheel. amazing! i told her that her next car will have to be something along those lines not some audi with 300 dollar a piece wheels.

sorry for highjacking the thread to all.
