No, I was looking at cars with my old man. Realised how cheap they are, and the fact that the Evo is now 6yrs old. I could have a almost new car still under warrarty, w/leather, heated seats, navi... for little money out of pocket. I realize the performance is no where near the same... just a thought at this time. I'm not driving around with the title in my pocket or anything.

Warranty - check
Navi - check
Leather - check (MR ed.)
Heated seats - maybe not, but it's over rated anyway...
You might need a few more pennies, but it's still a good time to buy!
I think I just got wrapped up in looking at the the G's. I'm over it.

Is there even such a thing? I don't think I've ever seen a non cf do luck style lip.
im starting to think there isnt. so much for my plan..
it just seems like waste of money to paint a carbon fiber lip. but i dont thnk carbon will look good since there is no other carbon onmy car and the wheels are going to be dark red.

The link I posted is the only one I've seen. I think GReddy makes one as well, but I don't know that your gonna like the looks of it. I've never seen the do-luck style in anything but carbon.
guess its gonna have to be carbon. so what do you guys think. im shaving the mistu emblem on my evo8 bumper, i was planning on painting the lip, but if it has to be carbon i might just leave it... wheels will be advan rs in oxblood red metallic. no other carbon on the car.. should i color match it or leave it carbon?
Red wheels?? Which ones are you putting on your car?
Matt, I'm all for shaving that triangle on the front bumper. I'm in the process of looking for an VIII bumper to do the same thing. I also agree with Jeff, try the lip out and see what it looks like before you decide to paint it. With your car being white, I think the red will look bad****, and set the colors off nicely.
Chu, I'll be in Bala Cynwood this afternoon. Not sure what your schedule is, but I could bring along the perrin filter and maf adapter. If not, no worries, we can meet up another time. I have an interview at 2:30.
