Bodywork in or around MA
Bodywork in or around MA
I'm looking for a good bodyshop to quote my install + paint on my Voltex widebody kit. I've shopped around a few places, just want as many options as possible. The rear fenders are a pretty intensive install, so I'll need to feel really comfortable with the shop before they go cutting into my car.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Armor Autobody in Millbury MA iv heard does really good work. The kid that works there has a modded Evo 8 Rs, id give them a call 508-865-3555 ask For Kent or Gator (nickname but everybody calls him that, even the owner) tell them that Pierre (me) told you to give them a call. I cant say there going to give you a good price or anything, i just have had alot of friends cars go threw there and they have done good work.
Thanks, I think price is pretty high wherever I end up going. Really just trying to find someone who can tackle the rear fender portion of the job. Thanks for the info, I'll give them a call later today.
Well... there's always Phil at Sansossio Autobody...
You can ask Alex and Bill over at DSG... about the quality of his work.... and Turco... and Dex... tell him that Jason sent you...

Some shops we hear good things about are Pierre's recommendation Armor, also Venturas in Lowell. They do a lot of show car stuff.
I always use Sansossio on Cocituate (sp) St in Natick. Phil and I go way back we went to school together. They paint practically every BMW club racer in New england and restore BMW. There are two Sansossios in Natick so make sure you have the right one.

Navin at Ventura is the best!!!!
very very detail work of Art, and they always on-time, that's very very rare on custom bodywork.
Navin installed the full Voltex Widebody and use house of kolor Tri-stage Orange paint finished my show car right before HIN. (in about 3 week, no other shop even dare to take the job, cuz most of them know they will screw it up) The car shines under the sun like Gold. and he went extra mile make sure every detail and the work is fantastic. the rear wide body piece is not stick on, he custom mounted screw and drilled my rear fender, so later if i decide to take them off, just unscrew it, how does that makes a great job? And for custom carbon fiber work, i don't think anyone in MA can pair with his skill. I have the only set custom carbon fiber voltex canard in the country so far. If i had the money, i will let him do the whole car carbon fiber, hehehe.
I call him my AutoBody magician. He is not cheap, but for the quality, $$ well worth it.
Here is some pic from 08 HIN boston, and yes!! that car wins the hottest wild mitsubishi!!! But from those pic, u only see half of the paint's beauty, when under the direct sunlight, there is another world~~~~
Navin at Ventura ---- FTW!!!!

where's this "Ventura" buddy - they have a website?, that car looks P.I.M.P.! yeah, when it comes to paint, there's no such thing as a "good deal", you get what you pay for
Sweet looking ride.
