Yeah, TurboXS has one and they're less than a block away from AAM, but since they're sort of a competitor to Vishnu, I dunno how'd they'd feel about him using their shop to install and tune HIS mods! LOL

Anyway I hear they're very picky about what cars they let dyno on their dynamometer... although since they now offer mods for Evos I'm sure Evos and Subarus can use it (my friend's AWD S60R Volvo they told him they had a 6-month wait for using the dyno ).

LOL I spent 16 years in NJ myself but only since I've been in MD have I been driving so these past 7 years have been a lot of long-distance traveling so for me it's nothing to drive over an hour to get somewhere important. Then again 4 hours (how long it takes to get to northern NJ from northern MD) is a bit much to do more than like once or twice a year, and I can only imagine it without cruise control!

Wow, so $1075 will get you XEDE, PnP harness, and your car dyno tuned at BM that day by Shiv. Pretty cool.

Now all I need is an Evo, broken in before the 25th of Oct, AND another $1075 on top of that!

I think I met you on Saturday at Tysons (NoVA) before you guys went on the Skyline ride. The Vishnu dyno day will give us more time and opportunity to trade info on our cars, w/c I found kinda hard to do before you all left on Sat. -- granted everyone was pretty excited to ride! Here are some pics of dcevoclub for the rest of us in the northeast. I think this is the kind of EVO turnout we can expect on 10/25 AND we can all ride up to Edison, NJ -- that will be the best part (and radar detectors aren't illegal outside of VA...):

Yeah I doubt I'd make that deadline unless something changes for the better. I would be happy to just have the money to get an Evo by the end of October. I'm getting there. Slowly.

And if I was going to spend $1000 in mods, I want a turbo-back RMR exhaust first so I doubt I'd be in for the Shiv tuning and XEDE anyway just yet.

Is there a 'before' dyno run or just the tuning dyno run(s)?

Will there be boost, A/F ratios, Hp and Torque graphs or info?

Did you say I can purchase it now for $1075 and just show up for the dyno tuning on Oct 25th?

All valid questions. I've made a list of these and will call up vishnu today. i'd suggest calling them up yourself if you have more questions. i'm going to also ask them if there is a deadline to order the xede's b/c currently it's taking them at least 3-4 weeks to get the supply, test them, and send them out!

All date, time, and final prices are on the first post of this thread. I talked to Ken at Vishnu today and it definitely will be a good idea to order the XEDEs as soon as you can. To be safe, I would just have them send it to your place. I have not spoken to BM Tranny about the issue of them possibly installing Vishnu Stage 0/1 on the dyno day (and thus, those parts could just be sent directly to BM Tranny); I'll get back to you guys on this one. I'll add this to the original post also.

Again, PLEASE order all your Vishnu XEDE units ASAP so that it will be ready for tuning on the 10/25 dyno day. The turnover time has been very slow at Vishnu -- basically Shiv tests each XEDE unit that comes in before it goes out. Keep in mind that he's traveling a lot in Sept/early Oct. so please call Vishnu up and place your orders or at the very least ask them when the latest time to do so is. Also, Ken mentioned a possible "pre-order" w/ a deposit on the units.

hp/tq, A/F ratios, boost, before/after runs will all be included as per Ken at Vishnu.

Tim has brought to my attention some discrepancies on the pricing and timing of the order i.e. if we order the XEDE now are we getting the $975 bundle/tuning price or do we have to just pay $200 for the tune... I'm almost sure it will end up being the latter. We are waiting on a pm from Shiv himself b/c this is getting a little confusing...

Another problem I see... If we order the XEDE now and less than 10 people order them in regards to this post, does that mean Shiv won't show up and we won't get ours "custom tuned"?

doc_evo: This is my second request to be added to the list for a custom Stage 1 tune on 25 Oct 2003. I PM'd you but never received a response. I purchased my Xede back in May but returned it in August to be upgraded to new unit with boost mapping features.

Pease add me to the list and confirm my attendance.
