**Note**: By 10/25, BM will have moved to their new location w/c is in Edison, NJ (not the one in there website). This is about -15 min closer to Philly (for you DC guys); I'd say about an hour from Philly. Keep in mind Shiv has done a Vishnu Dyno Day for WRXs w/ BM before.

Pricing:
- $975 for XEDE, plug/play wiring harness, and custom tune by Shiv , NOTE: hp/tq, A/F ratios, boost, before/after runs will all be included as per Ken at Vishnu
OR
- $200 for custom tune on XEDEs (for those of you who already have one)
- Everyone will need to pay $100 to BM for the dyno time

- Update 9/08: PLEASE order all your Vishnu XEDE units ASAP so that it will be ready for tuning on the 10/25 dyno day. The deadline for orders on XEDEs and stages is 9/21!!! Have everything sent to your home and have the stages and/or XEDE installed by the dyno day to give optimal time for tuning!! All orders done under this dyno day/group buy are entitled to the $975 bundle -- none of us have received the XEDEs on time so Brett has confirmed that we will all get the bundle deal! The turnover time has been very slow at Vishnu -- basically Shiv tests each XEDE unit that comes in before it goes out. Keep in mind that he's traveling a lot in Sept/early Oct. so please call Vishnu up and place your orders ASAP

- Please call Vishnu if you are ordering additional stages 0/1. Again, these need to be delivered to you and installed before the dyno day to allow optimal tuning time!

Looking at the Project EVO article by Mark, the custom tune of the XEDE's by Shiv really does make a difference in terms of power and smoothness. Also, that $975 deal is a pretty great price if you break it down. Please call Vishnu at 925-924-9800 on any hardware/software issues, and call BM Tranny above for any dyno/location issues.

We need 10 new XEDE orders to make this happen and to have Shiv fly out here (he's like some kind of rock star ); no more no less than 10 b/c of time constraints. is the Shiv thing warranty friendly? I guess if I do decide to modify my car, I want it to be unplugable and no spliced wires, etc......

I thought there was one version where you unplug the ECU, plug in a wire to another box, then from the box to the ECU.???

The other was the "flash" from Works....

Well I'd have to be interested since he be out here and I am planning on getting the Xede at some point so I guess count me in. I'll just have to charge more for side work. j/k

 

As far as I know, there is no more splicing of wires to install the XEDE if you buy the $90 plug-and-play harness. I believe there will be a break on pricing (like a combination XEDE and tuning price) but let me check. I guess there will be much more enthusiasm for this if I get specifics up ie date and price, so let me work on that. Regardless, looks like so far we have me, Jon, Tim, and Adolfo -- so 6 more only!

Scot, since the XeDE thing is now a plug and play affair, if you have a warranty issue on the car, you simply unplug it before heading to the dealership.

I drove in KK's Evo after he had the Vishnu stuff installed. I can certainly feel the difference between his and my Evo. His car pulls hard all the way to redline!

Thanks SC. What is the estimated bill for the XeDE and tuning? I assume that will get me about 25-35more wheel horsepower?

If it is semi resonable, I will probably be up for it.

 

Do I have this straight?

$1050 includes:

XEDE with plug in harness
Dyno run or runs? with Shiv's custom tuning

A before and after mod dyno run would be great.

 

I have no idea how much it all costs. I'm not in the market for an upgrade myself....yet....so I haven't been paying attention when people throw around numbers.

But I do remember people saying the set-up gives a good 30-40 hp with it's 93 octane map, over stock.
