I was thinking more warranty related claims. Which dealership would you trust your Evo with?

Man you guys are insane. I wouldn't let transit towne fix my lawn mower and good luck getting anything warrantied through them. Also Innovative is not an EVO shop and perhaps you should research these places before you start getting work done/spending money there. I will say it again, if you want your Evo worked on by people who actually know and constantly work on Evo's take it to STM, not the dealer or innovative. If you're interested you should ask to meet transit townes evo tech........hahahahaha

So where is any of your proof to this? The dealership can handle simple oil changes and depending on what the warrenty claim would be i dont see the issue seeing as they are doing it under your warrenty aka you dont pay for it. Once you touch the computer they will not warrenty it. So what dealership would you use for warrenty ****? And what is innovative tuning then explain? You dont need just an evo shop its and AWD tuning shop, a guy at the shop owns an evo and trusts this shop with it. Ive have seen nothing but good work from this shop. So explain yourself

ask Jrod0187 about how competent the dealer techs are when they trashed his brand new t-case by putting the wrong fluid in it. And like I said you must be new to the car scene. Look hard enough around and you'll find all the info you need. If you had a Subaru then sure go ahead and venture over there but be ready to pay for a whole bunch of services you probably won't need. Bet you'll end up getting a smoke leak test, boost leak test and pay an insane amount in labor. But what do i know? have fun with your future endeavors with the WNY car scene. By the way I have no affiliation with either STM or Innovative, I'm simply an advocate of getting the best possible work you can have done for the money and you won't find that here locally. It requires a drive to Avon

Never doubted ya, just asked ya to back your statement up. And i said that innovative is pricey, but they dont mess up your vehicle. And if transittowne did that to a vehicle then i def wont be taking mine there. But if it needs warrenty work there really isnt many options. And i am new to AWD cars but not cars in general. Dont have to get all amped up on here.

So if not transit towne, then where? Is the location in Avon a dealership?

No its a tuning shop, he just said to go there for tuning needs. He was just making fun of the dealerships and how they are not very good. But im assuming that vehicle had a different transmission than OEM one which is how the fluid got messed up, but idk. Im just as curious as you as to where to take it for a warrenty ****, if ever needed. These cars have too much plastic and those annoying pop tabs to change fluids n ****.

Had the dealership in Poughkeepsie forget to put a bump stop back in my front suspension after replacing blown front struts....lets just say it blew again and I was not happy. They did however replace it for free....consolation prize I guess.

stm would be able to help you out with any services you need for your evo, not just tuning. You can chance it at transit towne but odds are that you are going to get the run around, and probably get your claim denied. They are not a very great dealer for service.

Are there any other dealerships in the area?

I meant are there any other dealers in the area that have a reputation for being good with warranty claims.
