i test drove this evo yesterday.. thinking about buying it... just want to know who owned this Evo.. and any history on the car.. accidents, mods, etc.. thanks

car pulled pretty nice... didnt care too much for the sound system though.. or the scrathes and dings and rock chips but oh well...... im def not paying $24k for it, lol

its got evom stickers on the rear windows, so its gotta be somebody here! i really need to know what i might be getting myself into here.... anybody know who this car belonged to?

can't help you with who owned it before, but it's gonna need it's 60K service which is a major one. I would def bring that in negotiations. Thats a thousand dollar job, or close to it.

 

yea, already done. i got them to include it in for an extra $600... i also talked them down from $24k to $21k, which is still too high IMO....

i think i might just keep looking.....

 

21K for a 2006 isn't that bad. I bought a 2005 for 23K but then again, it only had 20,082 miles on it. Still looks like a good buy.

 

i think its a decent buy, but im sure there are better deals/cars out there... ive seen them..... everywhere, but new jersey.....

Maybe, maybe not, you'd be very lucky to find the original owner on this forum, there are thousands of ppl here.

Any maintenence records in the car? because mine had all the records inside along with the previous owners address and phone number. I just wrote a letter to ask about the history of the car.

 

yea, actually they did have the records... i forgot the name though... i guess that would help, lol.. i just figured someone would recognize the car..
