It must be cause you have mostly white people around you.

I have gangstas, blacks, hispanic. I live in between the good and the bad side which would be Bergen ave. being with so much gangstas, and Kennedy being mostly white. I guess that's what you get for living in Jersey City.

That puts you near Kearny and Lyndhurst...understandable. I'm in Leonia for reference. No. Arlington's a pretty nice town though from what I've seen.

i live in elizabeth and my car was parked outside on the street every night last year. luckily, nothing ever happened to it and now i have it parked in the driveway of my new apt. honestly, i dont think this is just your average hating. i bet it's the same person that has a personal problem with you zapco. it sucks!

the only vandalism i've noticed here (kind of ghetto), i was driving around one night and some kid shot a paintball at my car from his house. luckily for him, i didn't notice it til i pulled over about 2 miles later.

White people steal cars too. I live in a town bordering Englewood and not 5 minutes from Washington Heights. I think having no less than 3 cop cars on duty at any given time in a town that's just shy of 1 sq. mi helps.

Yup, Kearny is a 2 minute walk way. Its actually a safe town and is really convenient (I used to travel a lot in my last job), but there are a lot of punk kids looking for trouble. Since I was once one of them (not here though), I have a good idea some of them would love to screw up a nice, red EVO with a big wing.

True true. But mostly African/Americans, Hispanics rob cars around here so I would consider white people good (well most of them). But try living here for a month and you'll see what happens to your car. ****ing poor people.

It's basically if you drive around with a hot car, you'll get eyed. My car was eyed for it's tints, then my friend told me somebody was peepin' to see what I had. But I couldn't remember if I still had my TV headrests inside the car while those people peeped in. Hopefully not. Now I just take my TV headrests and subs out just in case. People will steal anything.

Kearny's nice for the most part, so's No. Arlington, but it only takes one person to ruin your night and the denser the population the greater the chances.

This is what I do not understand. I respect everyone out there because of this reason. I know if I was an ***, then people would hate and do **** to **** my car up. I respect everyone to be cool with everyone but also keep my butt safe. I get tons of waves/thumbs up's all day every day from people I know and those I do not. It's just as if this came out of the blue. Nothing happened to where someone would have a problem with me, I guess this is why I cannot put my finger on who may have done it. However, this car club down the street from where I was parked is a suspect. But they all kiss my *** that's why I don't think they did it. Hmm, I don't know, when I questioned the kid that lived down the street, he said, "Oh ****, was it a Snapple bottle or something?", I replied, "Actually, it was a snapple bottle, how did you know?" "That's just what came out, I don't know." Could it be a coincidence that he said snapple bottle out of the millions of types of bottles out there? or do you think he may know something about what happened? I am lost but just want to know who did it and why. If they got beef with me, take it out on me, not my car, plain and simple!

F**K!!!! I am still @ the airport in Florida waiting for my plane cuz it got delayed and what do i get...? A phone call from my uncle who just arrived @ my house back in Cali telling me that someone keyed a big "**** U" on my hood.

I parked my car outside on the driveway for the trip since my family has more expensive cars that needed to be parked in the garage. I am so f*cking pissed right now, especially that I haven't even seen the extent of the damage yet. The City of Yorba Linda (Where I live) is supposed to be crime free... but why the hell would someone do this?!!! I've parked my old car ('89 pontiac bonneville) on the street with the windows open and the keys on the dashboard overnight multiple times, and nothing happened to it.

My guess would be, somebody has a grudge against you.

You'd be surprised at what some of the white kids would do. When I was in High School, I had friends (no longer for good reasons) who routinely stole pull-out radios, radar detectors and even CDs. Of course, they were amatuers and mostly took stuff from open cars, but its still a shame.

They also vandalized cars from people they had grudges with.
Incidentally, one of them took his modded Mustang to Spring Valley on Sunday Nights, but I'm not going to say anything about the pony fairmont owners.

I think it also depends on the car (excluding grudges of course). I think in a Lancer ES, you should be ok, unless it has some extroverted body kit. An OZ, I wouldn't be hysterical, but I'd check on it every so often. With an EVO, I am VERY paranoid. I think its a funtion of the car's ability to stand-out from the average Joe (due to the car's flamboyance and number on the street).
