If you want to see what you and your car can do there is no better venue than a SCCA PDX. The next one is March 21st at New Jersey Motorsport Park on the Lightning track. You'll get in car instruction from real race drivers who will teach you how to make the most out of your Evo.

Ironically I'll be there but driving a Spec Miata in the SCCA Driver's School. I'll make sure I come over and say hi to the Evo guys

 

I wont be in an EVO either, look for a loud silver Z06.

There are only 26 drivers registered at this point and Evo's are under-represented. While you be sharing track time with the driver's school (not on the track at the same time) this still bodes for plenty of track time and fairly uncrowded sesions.

 

1 hour and 20 some odd minutes to be exact!

 

I was able to get 5 friends to register with various cars ranging from BWM's to VW's.
I'm expecting lots of track time, sure hope they don't cancel the event due to lack of participation...

 

They won't cancel it. I'm on the Borad and while were a bit unhappy with the turnout were alos running a racing school the same day so it all cool.

Also notice that there's a Time Trail event the next day if you want more track time.

up to 34 registered people so far, I believe I read the cap is @ 60, so we're almost there.

If anyone is on the fence about signing up don't wait just do it!

FulySicEvo, it was nice that you stopped by in the paddock, thanks again for the heads up and nice to meet ya! I'm going to try to make it out to some more PDX's and TT's this year.

umm, it pretty much rocked! Lightning is now my new favorate track, can't wait to get back there.
