I wish the weather wasn't going to turn crappy tonight because I really want to go run my car just to see what the hell it will do WITHOUT a damn boost leak. Maybe I'll have the time eventually.

that is exactly what happens with that clutch. You get locked out at higher rpm's and can't shift even close to as fast with a twin disc.

I see your sarcasm but, I enjoyed the actual event when you are there in person. The show is pretty stupid but they had great track prep and decent exhibitions going on all day.

I have been to a couple pink's event's and the problem I have seen is the muscle cars come in greater numbers, don't break and are always consistant. The imports that come are usually too fast, too slow, or break.

not tryin to dig up $hit but why do u feel u need 3 twin discs already in a car that is a 2006 model year and only traps 108???? thats just crazy to me
This might seem defensive, but i see plenty of Evos with way more power, and higher trap speeds that can't run mid 12s.
clearly i am crazy.... but thats another story.

in all honesty though - i've never driven a single-disc i liked. *shrugs*
my stock clutch only lasted 17K... when i was stock, and my 2006 has 75K miles on it.
If I could only do one mod - it would still be the twin disk+pill removal.

You and I both know that even though he makes fun of the show, Tim would have an awesome time if he went.... .

i went to the track about a week ago and i did a 11.3 @ 124 mph with a 1.7 60ft. it was my first time ever tracking my setup. BUILT 2.0 WITH A 35R. bogged a ton of runs and then last run of night i banged out an awesome time, so im pumped.

nice runs. you running on pump? It seemed the more hp I made, the harder it was to make a decent run.

That's a good idea. And yes I do, make an offer and it can be yours.

If your not already saving for a replacement your crazy. I would do start saving for one like...yesterday. That way when you roast the clutch (it's not a matter of if, only when) you can replace it. Keep and eye out for deals on what you want and pick one up. Better safe (and ready) than sorry.

Ya, I use my steering wheel too lol.

I mean I could go back to my Old High School parking lot, put a few cones on the ground and go around them.

You'll be fine. I had over 40 passes on the stock clutch. Only slipped when I launched it with the 3065.
