If you willingly live in a state with laws that you disagree with and choose to ignore, then there's really noone to blame but yourself. I say move or put the stock exhaust or something quiet back on. It sucks, but realistically the law is the law like it or not. Sorry if I sound harsh, but thats just my opinion.
You could always move to PA. The cops and laws here are actually pretty leniant. If you don't drive like an *** the cops don't pay any attention to you. My Evo is LOUD with dark tint and it's red. The only time I was ever pulled over in it was for going 45 in a 40 through a hidden speed trap. I pass at least 2 state police everyday without so much as a second glance.

 

I just can't believe they give you points for having a aftermarket exhaust in boston. That is crazy.
