Time to say goodbye

Well guys, it is time for me to let me Evo go ...

But things change. Well, mostly babies come along and change your lifestyle.

Any advice on how to go about finding buyers. I tried the dealership but they weren't very helpful. Craigslist hasn't done much but generate a LOT of spam.

Ideas?

Why sell? Just because you are getting a kid? Evos and children are not incompatible.

Baby seats will sit fine in the back seat of an EVO. Raised my daughter in a souped-up Roadrunner 27 years ago (no one had baby car seats then, just arms to hold)...she's alive and psychologically fine. Anyways, try local sites like the autotrader here in Canada, or there are similar sites in the U.S. 'Google' where to post/sell used cars in your province/state, and the lists will come up. It's difficult to sell any vehicle at a distance, so local is best as most will need to come and see it and test drive it, especially when it's a car that's known for racing and possible problems because of the hard driving.
Prices on new and used cars have also dropped. You might want to check your (redbook/blackbook) value at your local library. New cars have 0% financing and big $'s for trade ins to get people to buy, so people are buying a lot more new cars, than used cars, these days...a new basic KIA is less than $10 grand. Also if the car is stock and in good shape, probably stick with the higher price in the redbook value, as the values they post are quite low to begin with.
Good luck.

As a person question... how much are you selling it for? What mods, if any? And all other information that is normally exchanged.

As per your question... have you tried vehix.com?

When you meet the site requirements you could post here. Do not post ***** to get there though.

I know, I have one child already. It can be done but it requires way too much compromise.

Thanks guys for the info so far. I know that if I really wanted, I could still pull off running the Evo with 2 kids but given the choice, it seems that everyone is far happier if I get something bigger. The fact that I need to sell the Evo is no longer under debate, it is just a matter of getting it done.

Anyone have any luck selling their Evos? I proabaly need to find the right place to post and craigslist isn't it. There's a lot of spam generated by posting anything there.

I'm just curious about anyone's personal experience actually selling their car to a private party.
