marc, i agree. i need to get out there on the track. ive done a few events before and its been awesome, just never did anything steady or had a group of guys to go with.

im interesting in checking out NJMP and some of the tracks down in md/Va area too. VIR is supposed to be fun. once it warms up it should be go time, so count me in for some events. def like to race with some of you evo guys w/ more experience to hone the skills, and throw in a couple autoX events too.

that being said, the rush you get on a bike is unparalleled: probably bc your always about to die.

i was just thinking today about autox and you came to mind and i realized you don't post in here on the off season. its a coincidence that you posted today.

actually i remember what i was thinking about....it was me trying to map out in my head how i could manage to go wot at autox like fineberg.

i posted about it twice with no forum responses. ben, josh, chu, you, robert all have expressed interest but i'd like a head count closer to 20 in order to do it. i think it would be an awesome time. last time robert and i were there i was thinking "you know what this needs? beer."

if you all missed it the cliff notes version is renting out a room at the vintage racing car museum in southwest philly for a party. rates aren't that high for 3 hours and would be a good time. PM me if anyone is interested.

 

Does the venue provide strippers and coke? Or woiuld it be just a whole bunch of guys drinking in a room with auto momentos hanging on the wall.

 

it's more like a bunch of guy drinking in a museum with some old rich dude hardparking all his cars.

actually one of the cool things about the museum is that all the cars are full of fluids and all run. people vote every month on which cars they take out and run around the property.

I know you had mentioned the 29th, I have to work that day. Any saturday will be hard for me as I think I'll be working a lot of them. I would like to go to the car show though...

 

well lets figure out who and when. ill be back in town fri the 28th for the dads bday. Going to the nova g-town game downtown on sat, and probably the car show after that.

if josh/dan/ben/chu/bobert anyone wants to head over to the museum id be down. im free sat and sun, but sat would be easier since I wont have to worry about getting back down to DC etc. way to easy to let this pass up since it so close, but lets do it if we can
