haha yea those 2 fronts had ALOT of tread on them They are basically brand new man. They are "Supposed" to look like that lol

And i hope you made a pretty penny off the NT01's.
By heat shield i assume you mean the carbon fiber one for my bumper?
Well it has a tiny crack in it but i never re installed it. I tried using double sided tape but ummm the exhaust is so hot that it melts the bumper soooo therefore all of that heat torches the tape and the shield starts drooping and it basically looks like ****.

all this fender rolling talk has gotten me back on the wheel/tire search. i need some advice.

i like rpf1's in either silver or gunmetal but there are much in the way of offset choices. the size i plan to run is 18x9.5. the only offsets made are +38 which is OEM fitment or +15 which i think would push me out of the HellaFunctional club.

do you guys think an inch wider wheel with an OEMlike offset would still look good? should i run a 10mm spacer to get a slightly more aggressive offset?

comments/opinions.......

Dan, I think the 18x9.5 +15 in gunmetal would look awesome on a white X...but that's just my opinion!

You don't think +15 is bordering on dysfunctional?

There are too many people making statements like "just put 10 or 10.5" wheels on an X". I keep reading people having issues with them. Tim runs them with a +30 offset and seems to be fine.

I'd like a little more piece of mind.

The gunmetal only comes in the +15 offset, so you have no choice other than getting +38 and painting them! It's not the offset that makes you disfunctional, its the tire stretching and the ultimate aggressive stance!

I was planning to run 265/35/18. I would like to run 265/40/18 but I am worried about rubbing.

Oh an I plan for it to lay frame and take turns low and slow and on 3 wheels like my cousin dr dre.

a 10 with a 30 something offset will have a less aggressive face than a 9.5 in the +15.

I think 265.40 is alittle too tall...

If Kittens can make a +15 fit on a 9, you should have minimum problems getting them on a X. Alittle camber and alittle rolling never hurts anyone!
