yes and I need a pair of 6" springs. I was supposed to buy a set off Danny from the SCCA forums but he's been a ghost lately.

I don't know what I'm gonna do about my suspension. I would like to get the rears brought in a little, I'll leave the fronts where they are for now. IDK...

Oh yeah, due to the tight security here at work, no cell phones allowed. Me no texty while at work...
I still need my Z1's for the MR wheels.

you have it backwards, you need your fronts tucked in more and the rears left alone.

I'm always impressed by how fast some vendors work. Touge Factory is one example. I was on aim with Mike, sent my paypal, and I got an email with tracking number within 5 mins.

Chu, sorry brother I had just sat down for dinner.

My fronts are rubbing like a sob. I can't get anywhere near full lock without it making noise. I dropped the car back off at Bimmerworks to take some camber out of the rear. On the way up the vibration was gone (I must have lost a wheel weight on my snows), and all was good for a bit then its started shaking like wheel was loose so I pulled over, checked them all. Everything was good, but something smells like its burning.... Even Goerge noticed the smell when I got to BW (Goerge with the 318ti E36 M3 swap). I have no idea what that is... fenders didn't look like they were rubbing on the tire...

I meant take camber out of the rear. The rear seems excessive at -1.5 compaired to -1.3 up front.

Are you on 17x9.5 RPF1s? I always said it will rub at full lock, but yours sounds worst than what I had. And after I got an alignment, it was nearly gone. That is with my car lowered. Yours isn't lowered at all! Are the rears rubbing?

Yes on the wheels. No rubbing in the rear... I would hate to have to go to RT to get this thing straightened out. I don't think they got the one bolt lose, they won't admit that but one is still facing inwards.

DId they give you any ideas as to what the burning smell is from? Sounds odd...I never had that problem, whether on stock height or lowered!

Any republicans in here? Wassup with Mr. McCaine?

No they didn't look at it, I was dropping it off for tomorrow. I have no clue what it was, or the vibration on the way up there...

pete you got some 17x9.5s? nice dude. as chu said, he had barely any problems. now that im rocking those wheels for a bit, im getting a lil more and kinda like you.

i went to get aligned, and they were only able to get -2 on front right and -1.6 front left. with 1.5 in both rears. i get slight rub at full lock, but with the added stiffness of the rear sway, under hard cornering i get serious rub on the outside of the tire. again im lowered (more like slammed) on crappy tein springs so it would be better if i were a lil higher.

i can actually smell burning rubber if i take a hard long sweeping turn or go out for some twisties. but once i get the fenders done it should be alright.

gl with everything bro

^ Are you running big tires in the front? Regardless at full lock my car rubs a little, no biggie. If you look inside my wheels now it funny o see how much fender liner I have worn out running my tire size with agressive alignment thats sitting low.

Just tell Steve to give you as much neg. camber in the front he can get. For the rear do the 1 degree negative camber with a little toe out. Trust me, it will work for Autox and feel good on the street. Only draw back on street is car will track a little when road surface is uneven and maybe a little more tire wear than normal.

Do not know whats up with the burning smell, that is wrong. Wheel shaking like crazy, happened to me when my lug nuts were loose and my wheel flew off on the turnpike at 70 MPH, good times man! Wheel shaking and burning smell definitely means something is wrong.

How is it that you have all these problems? Wouldn't the tires get cut since your fenders aren't rolled? I dont remember seeing any cut marks on your tires last I saw. The sway bar you're added makes no difference.
