I used my iPod touch, but the camera was on the bottom closest to the dash so it recorded upside down. I wouldn't have known though cause it looked rightside up when we/I were in the car. Video turned out real good other than that?

 

Pete, can't you get harry's lap timer on iPod or is your's lacking gps? I recall seeing something about iPod touch on the last update but didn't pay enough attention to it to know what's what.

so whose all had that annoying mult cyl misfire code and how did you beat it? I turn it off all the time but im trying to pass inspection and cant pass with it on. car runs great, but stupid light comes on. disconnect the battery gives me like 12 hours then back on. an ideas ? need to get this done by the end of the month or im in trouble

 

I just started getting it after switching to 1350 injectors. It's due to occasional stumble at startup I think. Supposedly there's a patch for it, but I haven't looked yet.

Ryan, my friend has been having a really bad misfiring and knock issue lately. We changed to new OEM plugs and still had it. He was tuned by Petey when I swapped in an IX turbo, and the only hing that changed since was a new filter element. His car has about 80k on it, so I swapped his coils out with my old ones and the problem went away. If you can fidn someone down there to let you borrow theirs to test, it might be worth a try.

 

This weekend, at Dover. And November 5th at Warminster.

 

chu thats a good call. ill see who around here has a set i can toss on. just annoying the ish outta me since the car drives amazing, but this stupid light comes on. at first i thought it was just the cams, but ill look at coils. I just need a short term fix to get through inspection. jus put a gauge in front of the light so it doesnt bother me anymore!

 

You can, but you need an external gps which I have now. My video's would have still been upside down with the way I mounted it. I was gonna download the app Sat night, but couldn't get on the wifi at our hotel.. The camera records very good video though, its clear as hell.

I think I'm out for this weekend. 2nd in points is looking pretty good for you if you can hold off the guys in the Mustang and Mr. Cook in his WRX.

 

That's just one suggestion. You can also do a few logs to see what the car is actually doing also. Can also check to see if your tuner did the patch on your tune...or swap to V5 or V7 and be done with it!!!!

 

Looks like your doing a pretty damn good job to me, where did you finish in class?

 

Pete, I think I can handle Mustang boy if they overcook their tires again, lol. I wasn't paying attention to their times at the last event, since we had a good battle going. It will be a challenge fending off Dan. He's on Hoosiers also, and is a great driver. I need a wife with a butt like his to keep me motivated!
