We's at 2000 pages biotches.

Marc, high compression 2.3L with 11k RPM rev. NGUYEN! DB will love your new tech build!

That was in the back of my mind when I posted.

I don't think I want high compression for 30 minute RR sessions on pump gas. 9.0:1 will be the limit.

11k RPM would be sweet, with the right sized tire I would never need to shift outta 3rd.

He must have missed all the Buschur failures. They get swept under the carpet quicker than a child rape case at Penn State

I forgot you're on pumpgas. Yes, 9.0:1 sounds good

I am very limited to what I can do internally if I wanted to stay in TTB. I don't want to limit myself to NASA rules, though. I want to build the motor I've always wanted... if that lands me in a class I'm not competitive in (yet), so be it. Luckly I still have the e30 I can work my way up through the TT ranks in.

He sure did.

I was kidding about the 11k rpm thing Marc. There was a thread about him *****ing about it being old tech now that someone is running around with one on the street.

Dang! Sucks Marc. If it was gonna happen, I'm happy for you that it happened at the last event, during the final session of the year.

I really don't keep up with all the forum drama/politics as much as I should. That's why i posted what I did, so u fools can ebajacate me what to avoid.

Pete, it is good timing, except for the fact the motor was just opened back up in July when I did the balance shaft. Looking back now it was stupid not to just replace everything 'while I was in there'. You know what they say about hindsight

Yeah, talk about good timing. Motors are just another consumable item. With that kind of power, you'll be going through more tires, brakes and gas. But you wont have problems getting point by from z06 and GRR
