Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
I'm stuck taking a 10 hour long OSHA online training course this week/weekend. I'm 4 hours into the power point presentations and I want to blow my brains out. This is the most boring training I have ever received.
Effe that!
Domination in south jersey!
Got any pics of your car with those wheels on it?
Morning bishes, miss you guys, been awhile since I have looged on.
Congrats Dan on having a little man, best of luck! Don't forget it gets easier after the 3 month mark.
Chu and Chau next year = Autox dominators now that they are on real tires...

Last weekend after my last session @ NJMP I came in a few laps early cause I heard a knocking/vibration sound. Didn't think much of it and just assumed something vibrated loose. The car ran fine (aside from the noise) all the way back to my house and the noise/vibration even stopped at one point. Last week I took it over to RT/Tuning to let them diagnose it and got a call from Vince saying they found metal shavings in my oil fliter.
looks like after 120k miles of abuse my OEM bearings decided enough was enough. Vince thinks that maybe the piston to valve contact from my previous timing belt breakage might have been the straw that broke the camels back and the bearings just took too much of a hit. He is going to pull the pan and confirm if its just rod bearings, mains or what, but either way I'm going to be in the market for a new block.
If I'm going to build an engine I only want to do it ONCE and be done with it. Knowing that in the next 3 or more years I want to be driving something with 500whp, I am going to build a motor with that power goal in mind. So with that said, who has suggestiong as to which route to go? My goals are reliability and power! This isn't going to be an all out build with rare, expensive one-off parts, but I am going to build my 'dream motor/setup'. I'm thinking the hot flavor right now is the buschur 2.3RPM motor, it seems to have an awesome powerband with the right sized turbo (black or something along those lines). I know BR isn't the most popular shop around so please offer up some suggestions.
