I can't believe Dan Wheldon died in yesterday's Indy race. They have some nasty crashes but it seems like dying in racing is a thing of the past.

Josh, great seeign you baby.

Dan, you rode with Marc twice, yes I counted. You better bring the domination, cause I can't do it on my own son! Looks like we're riding solo son!
Yeah, I'm out for Friday, B. You and Danimal and gonna have to represent.

You should have no problem dominating Green on Thursday, then get moved up for Friday.

open cockpit is just insane, imagine an object flying at you at over 200 mph. a helmet doesn't do much to protect compression on your neck.

So, thinking of some highlights of my weekend.

1. Petey won the shootout. 5th year?

2. Chau passing a Ferrari 458. That was epic in its own right.

3. Tim coming back and telling us his instructor said "You have a cheering crowd up there, GO GO GO.

4. Me mooning all three drivers on course. That made for good laughs on the bridge.

5. Josh getting lightheaded. hahaha.

6. Bobert chasing down an M3 for a bit.

My highlights:

Cold tires
Dropping two wheels
Getting schooled from Marc
Skid pad in the corolla

Oh and all those noobs on their first track day. It's a shame that group was so painfully slow. I think that's the slowest I've seen a novice group so far.

Going off your highlights, did you learn how to go off, or learn to drive the track, from Marc?

If you get stuck behind more than 4 cars, just pit to get a gap. Its worth the minute its gonna take you, cause most likey you're gonna have open track when you come back out. At Summit, I was behind like 6 cars at one time, not worth it to try to work your way though, I just pitted.

Any of you guys lap anyone? Lapping people is the best.

Marc lapped a couple of guys.

Chu, We talked about what he did when going off. I'd just hope I could do that if I were ever in that situation.

Pete, it was unreal in the novice group. They were spread around the track too so pitting in only helped for a couple of turns

It was a good time on track for the first time. Lol as we were pulling on track for my 3rd session my instructor was talking on his cell phone, he gave me some good advice and let me push my car to personal limits. That made up for him not showing up my first session lol.

We all lapped the m5 3+ times lol. Pitting was not an option for this group. You might get 2 corners in and then it was back to grid lock traffic. Im glad I did not have to give any point by's and got one from a gt2 (same owner as the m5 but still a good feeling). I had a blast and learned alot esp from thai and marc
