[QUOTE=honda-guy;10150169]actually, it was scientifically proven on a mythbuster show. same professional driver, same car, same conditions. average corner speed was slower for late apex but overall lap time was faster. i'm not saying that you should late apex every corner, just some corners that have long straights after.

well according to Mythbusters late apexing is faster, so you should do it everytime!
I so totally disagree with that, mainly because if you had to late apex every turn you would be bound to mess up some turns. If you are smooth and consistent it would work out in your favor, based on the amount of turns and time you are driving. No one has ever told me until just now late apexing is always faster, maybe faster exit speed but if you factor extra distance it seems you would lose some time cancel each other out. Not sure on the track, but I know I am not late apexing every turn when I autocross so I will approach it the same way when I am at the track.

the only thing you pointed out was you think you know how i drive base on one picture. i could have been swerving to warm up tires for all you know.

Ok, where did I say you drive like the picture all the time? Never said that, all I said is in the picture you look like you are taking the turn wrong.

there was a guy at kart that was at least 250lbs and put an a faster time than all of us. so where's your weight excuse now.
My excuse only pertained to you and barely beating me. Point is if I was same weight and we both drove the same way (not change our skill levels) I would have beatin you! The heavy dude is probably a regular there with superior skills. So if you take 2 people, one heavier than other with similar times, then add weight to lighter person to even weight, theoretically the original heavy would win. Follow me?

you have a trailer, take your car to track. you don't have to worry about driving 4+ hours to and from track like the rest of us. i'll gladly come to you for advice when you break my track records. just saying. com at meh.

Thanks for letting me know I own a trailer and truck, still has nothing to do with running a car that is not functioning correctly. I already wasted $ on the PCD cold tire domination, not wasting any more cash. BTW, I trailered car there, rolled it off and then rolled it back on, it was not a fun experience.

all i'm saying, bring your car out as is. you set your fastest lap in your car, then i drive your car and set my lap time. then we both drive my car and set fastest lap time. we add times from both car and see who's faster. if you go off track or spin on any sessions, then + 5 sec to your fastest time in that car. winner walks away with both pink slips. come at meh bro. alwaystalkingsh!tbutnotputtingup.
$hit is mad real, it aint a game.

Sounds great, but we will need to have insurance on both cars and name each other on policy, then I am down. LOL missed the pink slips..

Instead of waiting for that, come to the next autocross. You can drive my car, then we could drive yours and see or just drive mine. The car has a tweaked stock suspension set up, it is not anything crazy now. The car is an easy drive actually. We can go pinks at autox if you wants mang! Seriously though, I would never gamble like that regardless of my skillz. I am not a pink slip betting guy. It is not that important to me..

Keeps it realz all the time

track insurance is cheap. only cost $140 to insured my car for a 3 day weekend. should only cost $100 for your car, might be $105 since you got the new primer job.

autox is not my forte, i never said i would do well in autox. you da one saying your autox skillz would make you dominate the track. come out and prove me wrong son. enjoy all you can eat ice cream.
